Where do you get honesty from?

Adams is just blowing hot air.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,378 ✭✭✭✭Sardonicat

    "agents"

    Indeed.

Hmm, curious from Adams. "These guys have been in power since the state was established", weren't SF in some element of power in the state?

What pr company has Inda been going to to school him on coming across well?

What's the deal with the biro? It's all so fake and rehearsed. I've just figured out that he looks out of it because he's been told to not blink much. He looks like he's buzzing.
Apparently he is getting help from "The Communications Clinic" (run by Anton Savage & Terry Prone)

Did Gerry just say he'd be a Ninja for change.

Think SF have just got a number 1

That's all fine and dandy but he was in government for 14 years. There's no getting away from it.

Yes he was and we all know that. So there is no need to be brought up everytime a question is asked

The others use it as a cop-out so as not to answer the question posed.

Gerry - Class - I didnt have 14 years to make my point

Fine Gael's health policy took a battering there.

Even though Martin claimed the average family in the Netherlands pays €5,000 a year for health insurance which is a blatant lie. Even his own health spokesperson said last week on Prime Time they pay €1,500.

I heard Gerry say earlier he wouldn't mind a labour Sinn Féin coalition.
Gerry has the most honest statements of all, even if some of you dont like him and his party.
    .

Just because you are honest doesnt make your comments ludicrous. I have no problem with SF. My problem is with them having a leader who has little clue of politics in this country and who is taking through his preverbials when his economic strategy is questioned . .

    Gormley definitely coming across well.

I like Martin's proposals for political reform. Adams' retort - will they be paid big salaries? - is petty in the extreme. Governance at that level is more important than the relatively small cost of it.

Thought the old prune would have something to do with that "performance". And that is all it is. Pure sophistry.

Ok Eamon has clawed back a bit of credibility by at least answering the question asked . .

eamon and jerry are the winners here, i take no notice of what michael or gromless are saying, they are the cause of this ****e, so there are really 3 in this debate for me

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,500 ✭✭✭ReacherCreature

I'm liking Gormely's ideas of radical reformation of the political system.

    Good question finally . .

    Kenny answers a completely differant question ! ! !

Its up to Gormley yet again to lead by answering the fkn question . .

For me he is the winner tonight and he has seriously gone up in my estimation . .

I agree with you. After a slow start he has come into it very well, but where was all this innovation he speaks of when he was in government?

Using the crisis as the innovation block only goes so far.

Martin claims that he wants to get rid of negative politics, despite re-instating someone who slanders opponents by claiming they run a brothel?

The guy is full of words contradicted by his own actions!

Gormley is running away with this. He's also sorta presenting Enda with his flower !!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 740 ✭✭✭z0oT

The usual palavour from Micháel Martin, we'll do this, this and this, and it'll be great and wonderful, of course the fact that they've had the last 14 years to do so doesn't render at all.

Is Pat Kenny handing it to JG!

Enda would Greens 1 seat (maybe 2 after tonight) help?

Enda is an awful orator, but Terry has worked wonders!

Adams is winning, Kenny winner of big 3 poor old Martin bleeding heavily.
2 leaders with the they are hiding banner are winners

    Massive comeback from Gormley.

  • Registered Users Posts: 121 ✭✭willbeuptuesday

I cant believe that none of the other 4 can kill off martin in this debate considering all the ammo he ahd his friends have given them over the last 14 years. God help our country!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,848 ✭✭✭bleg

They're all jumping on board the green reform policies.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,374 ✭✭✭InReality

gormley sounded balanced which is fair enough.

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

What are the chances of all 5 of them going on the sauce tonight and hitting Coppers ??? :p

Martin is only proposing those changes as he knows he won't be in power to implement them!
