Have had 39.3mm of rain since around 4.30pm this evening and looking at the radar it seems to be intensifying with red 'blobs' now appearing.
We already had 47mm to 10.00am this morning. This led to fields and roads been flooded today - God only knows what state they will be in tomorrow.

Alright who done it..... ordered the snow that is :P

It was worse half an hour ago but it has been raining since but roads will be a nightmare as it had been raining very heavy all night / morning and the place was saturated / flooding (see top right of first photo) and with the snow when its starts to dissipate its will be a nightmare, be careful out there

Same here dont think there was much on lower levels, just a bit on the car when I got up , but theres lots on the hills.
There was an inch or two in Glencolmcille and the Ardara direction looks like it got a good covering from here too.

Heavy sleet at the moment with a bit of snow mixed in.

Measured 4 inches of snow this morning, up to 5 inches in places. It must have been extremely heavy to accumulate that much in just an hour or two

Most in the lower parts of the town is gone but theres still approx 2 inches here which will probably freeze tonight.

3.2C at the moment, steadily dropping. Blue skies for most of the evening

After a calm clear frosty start to the day conditions have dramatically changed here in the last hour. The South East wind has picked up with average speeds of 19km/h gusting to 34km/h. Low temp last night was -1.0c currently it has risen sharply to 7.9c. That would be a 6.7c rise in 2 hours. The cloudy is rolling in but still a few spells of sunshine.
