    Went out for the daily walk and its was very calm. Just got home now and the wind is definitely getting stronger. Currently 16km/h SW with gusts to 32km/h. It is partly cloudy with the odd burst of sunlight, temp 8.1c Pressure 1020.1 falling.

    Been relatively calm here since around 8pm last night. Highest gust yesterday was 51km/h. Currently its 10.7c, damp but no recorded rain yet. Wind is Westerly at 12km/h average, gusts to 25km/h. Looks like we are getting away lightly here with just a fresh breeze and no heavy rain.

    Airport half closed: Harbour Closed: Conditions too rough for pilot. So my readings are not saying the full story.

    Wind really howling all night with sustained high gusts. Definitely the worst night of this event so far here.

    wet,wind backed to southerly 7-8.the m3 buoy is showing 6.8 meter seas probably why the cork pilot can`t get out to ships

    Cloudy, Windy and Dry. Just 1mm of rain since midnight. Max gust was 47km/h and currently the average wind speed is 22km/h WSW. We are getting away lightly down here with regards rain as we only had 5.6mm yesterday compared to 30mm and above in places.

    Hot hot hot!, 27C here in Guangzhou, with no wind and blue skies. Strange to watch the news here, full of stories about snow and ice yet here in the south its hot and dry, perfectly summer like. The only clue is the locals still wear coats as its not 37C with 80% humidity like in summer proper!!
