Snowing in Dublin, clontarf. Stuck on dart in clontarf rd station. V light snow falling slowly. Almost looks like silver glitter it's so fine

I'm only up the road and under beautiful blue sky ! I hope we get some snow, I've been having palpitations getting up in the mornings to read MT's forecasts, nearly had a stroke this morning when I read the conflicting reports:eek:

    Hey all,

    what are the main roads?

They are roads that people use to get from city to city.

But thats not important right now.

Is that red mass snow???? How reliable is this considering that everyone in the forecast thread is depressed and nearly predicting an Indian summer!!!!

Does this indicate 10 -20 cm of snow for nearly everywhere bar coasts?

Actually one is a goddess, KHIONE: a daughter of Boreas, god of the north-wind, and Oreithyia, the lady of mountain gales. Khione was herself probably the goddess of snow.

    So now you know. :)

Jeeze, if these charts are accurate its game over for Dublin snow wise, a few frigid day with hard frosts but no snow.

That's the spirit, I think Khione is a weakling goddess myself.

Absolutley not. It's snow risk and snow level (i.e sea level, 100m above etc.) Not very accurate either.

It's been belting it down in south Mayo for past half hour though it seems to be easing up a bit now.

So Supercell you're falling in with what weathercheck said on the main forum ?

This M.T. Cranium vs. Weathercheck (The Snowdown!) is more interesting than the weather, thats because its sunny here :)
