I never accused anyone of anything, their are SOME out there with the reasoning they are better off on dole then looking for work, which is true alot of people are better off on the dole then working I know I would be,

There are 240 jobs currently available on Jobs.ie for call centres and know these are employing people on a regural basis just so you know,

Its my personal opinion not a statement that its not enough, as I get cut 50+

I agree with you,and yes it is not enough for SOME :D

    1. €9 cut off the dole = €187
    2. €187 x 4 weeks = €748
    3. €748 - €230 (Rent) = €518
    4. €518 / 4 weeks = €129

What about money spent on food, gas/electricity bills, money for cloths etc?

Bringing levels of social welfare back to 2006 rates is a good start! Our SW rates are way too high!
