Weird. Still snowing here in south D15, but now the flakes - and they are flakes, not graupel - are much finer... significant?

Think we're in the middle of a 'break' between more significant pulses.

edit - as a I speak, it's just picked up where I am in south d15.

More pretty heavy snow in Clontarf.

Anyone know what its like our round Donabate/Malahide? Need to make a decision later on about what to leave the office.

Snow on and off, not sticking too well though, about 1cm on top of other cover/cars.

Doubt the roads much different to this morning.

Dublin 11/15 (ballycoolin) is pretty heavy for the last hour

  • Registered Users Posts: 391 ✭✭Sonovagun

I woke at 4;30 this morning and once again rang work to inform them i wouldn't be in. there was about a fresh cm on the ground. Went back to sleep and woke near 10 to find a total whiteout, and an extra 3-4cms on the ground.

Lucky for me i am off work now till next tuesday, but i am worried about that now. Surely it can't last any longer lol

Plenty of streamers developing in the Irish Sea but i don't think they hold their power in the daytime. They don't make it to Waterford city anyway. Probably in the evening time we will get pasted again like the last two nights.

Now its Sunny, Temp -0.6 DP -2.2 . Little thaw on snow in sunshine.
