My Machine. Pretty Old CPU and Ram at this stage, think I bought this around 5 years ago. Changed the case, GPU and PSU and got an SSD last summer to keep it going. Motherboard, CPU and RAM this summer :)pcspec.png

My new desktop, which I just built yesterday. The GPU is holding me back but as I built it with parts I had knocking about (thus costing me next to nothing) I couldn't really argue. Might pop something better in later. The storage is two OCZ Vertex 2s in RAID 0.

This doesn't feel right. The SSD score is of course wonderful but I feel like my other scores have been higher before on the same hardware

And in fact I proved this thread's historical usefulness:

    attachment.php?attachmentid=141892&stc=1&d=1294104423

Somehow with the same GPU setup my score actually went down 2 points, while my CPU and RAM went up, since moving to Windows 8 (woot)

...Maybe I should try the assessment without dual monitors.... edit: Nope! Not sure wtf happened there.

Windows 8 probably has a different rating system, which is why the points have moved around a bit. It looks like its out of 10 instead of out of 8 as well.
