Wind has died away here in the last half hour and the rain has stopped now aswell, wonder how long it will last tho, gonna chance taking the dog for a quick walk.

As strange at it may sound, it's very calm in Maynooth and there's nothing to indicate the conditions at the other parts of the country. I could barely call the weather outside 'windy', there's a few branches moving a bit on the trees but that's it...

It sure as hell isn't calm here, just a couple of miles down the road. |You must be very sheltered?

Kinda hoping it doesn't get worse tbh.

    There is some roar outside!

Cork Airport, 2130 - SE 38 gust 53 kts. The fat lady hasn't cleared her throat just yet!

Overall isnt any worse than last Thursday. Just because the winds are affecting some areas more than they did during last Thursday doesnt make last Thursdays storm a non event.

Down here in Waterford its windy and very, very wet. Just got soaked on a quick trip to the shops. Plenty more rain on the way too.

gusting 60knots at marathon platform, and feeling every bit of it, feels much more violent than last weeks storm.
