About time they started moving onto Unreal Engine 4. UE3 has produced some great games but it's starting to show it's age.

This seems to be my exact problem.

I suppose I'll just get cable tie to hold it in place :)

Am I just OCD or is anyone else bothered by the way the outer corner of any mid-high end GPU will always dip down that slight bit? I know it doesnt matter but it bugs the hell out of me.

It's to allow more airflow in multi-GPU setups. If that wasn't there the fans would be starved.

On the subject of next-gen consoles...

Epic have been showcasing this at GDC all week, positive reports abound.

I might sound like cynical bastard, but i give ZERO trust to any tech demo. Their visual beauty goes hand to hand with its uselessness. I want to see proper gameplay in games using the engine.

So now rumors are going around that it is not heavy modified 7670, but 7950m?

so... no delivery for me today. :( UPS still have "due delivery date : Friday 29th End Of Day" up on the tracking page

Guess I have to wait until tuesday. Still seems to be in limbo according to the tracking. Left the UK at 5am and hasn't checked in anywhere since. Might give them a ring tomorrow if I still don't get a new update.

Can you pick up a parcel from their Dublin depot? Don't know if I can wait till tuesday :P

They have it, just the fella in the warehouse here hasnt scanned it yet, or tracking is delayed(an posts is always 24hrs behind reality for me).

You wont be able to pick up until its got to "out for delivery stage" and even then you have to wait till it gets back in. Probably Tuesday either way.

So here's my new crappy setup :p well I'm pretty happy with it, although it's nothing compared to others. Only thing I'm not happy with is the monitor, payed 30 euro for it to keep me going until I get a hd one :) and I'd like to get rid of those wires under the desk, ill get around to it eventually! Again cheers for the help lads, great bunch of lads :)

Nice and clean Damo, well done.

I put the cables up under the back of the desk, keeps them out of sight(maybe a little less in your case but still). First port of call for me would be a larger desk though, cant hack not resting my arms. :P

The wires for the actual computer are hidden, its just the wires for the speakers arent :( Definitely on my list too, i can rest my arms on my chair for the minute, that desk was only 12 euro tho, cant complain there :P

I always need a huge desk for gaming on my PC, have to rest my elbows on the desk and stretch across the keyboard! Same with the Xbox....I can only play leaning forward with my elbows on my knees - any other way and I just can't do it.

Id love a bigger desk, but the room just isint there in my bedroom so this will have to suffice :) Ah sure it does the job, mouse mat wasnt in stock when ordering and still havent got around to getting one :p

Steelseries QcK-something (I use a QcK+). Best mousepad ever. Cheap, durable, washable, and really nice to use.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,930 ✭✭✭✭TerrorFirmer

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 55,756 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

cheers. Not sure what corsair were thinking with that window in the C70, hardly no one has a fan on the window these days

My next step is to get sleeved cables for my psu http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002FJ47IA/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1
    Anyone have suggestions ?
