Why can i d/l a film over a 1gb in 20 mins but it takes 30 mins (so far) to d/l a 25 mb update on the ps3

Because sony provides a free service yet expects it to work without any bandwidth whatsoever, MW2 broke the whole PSN when it came out

and then almost as long for the bloody thing to install, I downloaded the Castlevania demo the other day, was 2gb I think, took about 45 mins or so to download and at least 10 for it to install properly, the hell?
