I got some from Limerick Self Storage on the Dock Road when I needed moving boxes. They do different packages but also sell them individually for around €4 each.

Lovely stuff thanks, I'm in that neck of the woods the whole time. Just looking for something to put books into and stuff under a bed!

No worries, they're really helpful in there. I think the type of boxes you're looking for are called archive boxes (with the lids).

That'll take time to move as it's a listed property. What's it like inside?

It's in fairly good shape and has been holding events up until recently.

Where can I get a spirits measure, sometimes called jiggers, those small steel things that pubs use for measuring spirits? Preferably in the city centre.

Could try it, if I'm fairly sure they'd have them. I don't want a wasted journey as time's a bit tight - someone wants one for Christmas.

I did get one once before when I was staying in England and it was quite difficult - I had to go to a specialist bar supplies shop in Liverpool.

The UK would have different sizes to us anyway.

I got a glass measure before in Tiger on Cruises St, if that's any good? They might have something.

Thanks, though they've specifically asked for one of the proper metal pub ones.

Would anyone happen to know if there are any shops/petrol stations/delis open around the city tomorrow? Particularly around raheen/dooradoyle. I know the spar on Catherine Street and quick pick on Henry Street are open, just wondering if there might be any others. Cheers.

That Tara place out the Dock Road is self service for fuel anyway.

One of the Circle Ks on the Dock road has been open in previous years anyway.

Anybody see the sign at Inver on the Dublin road? If you don't have an Irish Republic registered vehicle then you must pre pay in cash for your fuel.

I see why they would do that, as the authorities can't track a non Irish registered person who steals fuel but doesn't sound all very legal or fair. If I saw this in another country I'd drive on, doubt the owner would care.
