Don't get too used to it, the arse seems to have dropped out of the Euro again.

158.9 in Ferns & Camolin, Applegreen Arklow is 4c a litre dearer than in Ferns.

Was told that petrol was 142.9 in one place in Carlow.

At long last the price is dropping.

BTW,I saw 40kg bags of coal for sale in Supervalu car park Enniscorthy for €12.50 a bag.

Yeh, checked oil price about 3 weeks ago and it was at €485.00

The coal you saw, was it the premium smoky coal or......?

can assure you it wasnt 142.9 in Carlow. The maxol on the Dublin road had it cheaper than Diesel for a spell last week at around 1.52, but it was for a day or 2. certainly not 142.9 anyway. seems to be on average around 1.55 around Carlow, and Diesel 1c cheaper.

Haven't seen petrol as low as €1.42 for a long time. One drawback to the reducing price of fuel is, it gives Noonan the excuse to slap more excise duty on it.

    As I said,I was told,so didn't see it first hand. Reckon it was 152.9 & not 142.9

Theres a service station in New Ross where petrol has increased by 2c to 1.56 p/l.

When you look at the signage , the diesel price is shining bright , but the petrol price is faded .

Best price 158.9 for unleaded in New Ross these days .......it seems be going upwards though in some service stations

Same at every station in Enniscorthy,it's around 156.9 in Wexford. 160.9 in Ballymurn & that used to be one of the cheapest places for fuel, strangely though, the price of diesel hasn't risen.

Diesel is only 150.9 in Ferns & Camolin, yet its over 154.9 in Enniscorthy?
Its a pity Enniscorthy is always more expensive as it encourages people to shop outside the town.

I continue to advise the public to be very careful in looking at the "price" only when buying all fuels- petrol/diesel/home heating oil.

Yet you wouldn't tell me by PM who you suspected of selling dodgy home heating oil

Petrol gone up by another cent at Maxol,Bellfield- 159.9 now, diesel gone up to 155.9, that place really loves to stick the prices up as soon as they get the chance.

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,709 ✭✭✭✭Cantona's Collars

Prices gone over the 160c mark now,163.9 @ Donohoes & Kavanaghs.

Maxol on Arklow Road, Gorey, refused to honour a genuine Maxol money off voucher today, even though they're on the list of participating stations. Just another reason to avoid these rip off merchants.

Unbelieveable stuff. My brother got petrol in a texaco garage in ferns a few years ago and they wouldn't accept his company texaco fuel card....

You'd need to be sure what station you're talking about before you accuse them of scamming. Maxol is in Fahy's Cross, Ardcavan.

the one in the village in castlebridge, on the bend
