    Voucher attached.

You might want to check in the station before filling up. Maxol, Gorey refused to honour this voucher even though they're on the list of participating stations.

Did they give a reason why?

"The Boss", hadn't mentioned it, five days into the promotion. Poor management, poor PR, poor communication. Shoddy for a national company even if run by a franchisee.

thanks op and one of the maxols in Carlow has diesel at 150.9 so 147.9 a litre is great:)

There's only 3 outlets listed for Mayo, the 2 Castlebar ones and Ashlawn in Westport. Bad form if they're not accepting the vouchers:(.

I'd be contacting Maxol Head Office to ask what's going on.

If they are not accepting the vouchers in stores that are listed as participants then id be contacting the company for a refund. Thats a bloody joke like.

Is this a saving of €1.50 yes?

If you put 50L of fuel into your car - yes, a saving of €1.50.

My father's favourite expression was, "look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves", a sentiment all too lacking in today's throwaway world.

What if you have a 40 L tank and try and put 50 L into it is that still a saving of €1.50?:D

Paid for €20 of diesel there by cash and the cashier handed me back 39 cent... I don't know what I'm going to spend my savings on...

Good promotion by Maxol but only really worth it if you're doing serious mileage

You would probably need new shoes - so you be looking at a financial loss if you tried that.:D

So the offenders have been demoted;). Cosgraves & Ashlawn were there the last time I looked.

I was thinking the same, if that car returns 40 mpg then they'll have used €2.53 to get there.
    Sometimes people should think.

Only if your passing the station on your way.

Edit: Crap just seen the post underneath :)
