Just checked the pre-match and Grubber are only ahead on kicking and level on attck, everything else the Gnomes have a 0.5-1 star advantage (apart from rucking where it's 1.5 :rolleyes:)

Hopefully the home support will riot and attack the Gnomes players (thats how home advantage works right)

Ignore the stats!!! They mean nothing, nothing i tell you!! Especially in the heat of a boards cup match!!

Besides i dont have a good feeling about tonights match. Something doesnt feel right and i can't quite put my finger on it :eek:

losing 14-10 at the half and really am quite lucky to be this close.

I almost was in the lead coming into the half but a last minute try for the Gnomes saw them take (a deserved to be honest) lead into the half.

But still only a 4 point deficit means game on for the second half!

The Gnomes do, it was a good match. The Gnomes penalty count was balanced by a dominance in the ruck (with a number of turnovers in their 22 in the 2nd half) which serves me right for starting a 2nd string back row.

Anyway, well done John!

Everyone likes a tryer fails again - reckon energy let me down. was fairly even but last 20 i conceeded a lot of penalties and terrotory try scored in last couple of minutes to seal the win 22-12. maybe next year!
