How odd, I accepted the fixture but it's still allowing me to accept other friendlies.

That is odd because the match is showing up for me

Has your opposition accepted yet Frankie ?

If not, you still have the week open for a fixture !

I got there before Frankie (at least according to blackout, he was awaiting response or whatever way its put) so thats not it.

No way am I giving him a bye through to the next round! :p

Yeah, I accepted, it's appearing in my friendly box in my office but for some reason the friendly squad are still knocking at the door.

Guess I'll have to man up and face the dreaded Mar-Z!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,225 ✭✭✭mar-z

That's right, complete with the capital Z and all!

I think if you try to accept one of those friendlies you'll be told you already have one and cant. Assuming those requests were recieved before you accepted, if not it may be some kind of bug.

Wandering Wanderers haven't accepted the fixture for monday....He hasn't logged on in a week. What happens if he doesn't log on on time?

I'm afraid this competition is rather descending into a farce really. :( Numerous walkovers are the beginning of the end.

Grubber & Curly Sue should be a good match though, we've both decided to go into it on an even enough footing and let the teams do the talking... it's gonna get mean and real baybee. :)

Just checked the preview and I have a total of 2.5 stars better overall, so it should be close. It's gonna get interesting before its all finished!

2 wins each out of our last four face offs and very similar points difference, and yes the stars are rather close. I'm hoping the home advantage doesn't play too big a part in it, so we can have a good ol' fight to the death!

    5-0 at half time!

C'mon the Underdog story coming true! Where's my plucky rebellious ringer back from his quest for self worth!?

2 tries in the first 10mins has settled my nerves now. 19-0

Hopefully Frankie's fairytale underdog comeback doesn't occur

That's just what Curly Sue Death Squad needed. That brings their score to 10 - only 23 points behind Grubber RFC. Game on!

... at 82 minutes. The game is more deluded than I am!

Good game sir, it was a closer match than the scoreline made out.

33-10 final whistle. Curly Sue Death Squad go out of the cup, well hockyed by Grubber RFC.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,460 ✭✭✭Orizio

I seem to have been badly beaten by Oisin despite having far superior CSR levels. Bizarre.

Why were no penalties kicked? I noticed that all of your possible point opportunities were tip&go and all of mine were kicked for touch... not that it would have made much of a difference the way my kicker was playing, but is there some element of the tactics that governs such things? Just think it's odd that neither team kicked for the posts on a perfect conditions day.
