    it's weird snow here in east meath, it can't make up it's mind. one minute it's big and fluffy and next minute it's small and sharpe!

    are you serious ? it's stopped snowing here and i'm right beside the airport. looks like the de-icer's are not into cleaning the runways.

    -4 in Lucan Village and has been snowing constantly (at varying intensities) for the past 25 mins. The village was gritted overnight and is passable, water pressure is very low though. Not sure what later today is going to bring........ Electricty wires have a long row of crows- almost like something out of a Hitchcock flick.

    The RSA has issued their 'Top 10 Safety Tips for Pedestrians'.

    I love the description of the overhead hazards - "In extreme cold weather icicles can build up in size very quickly and are lethal. Their size and dagger-like formation are extremely dangerous for pedestrians." :eek:
