To get the bizz jet achievment it seem syou need the A318elite, instead of wasting pax points, go to the fleet link, buy aircraft, select the search function, enter in 15 for Passanger range, you then get the A318, and its only 200k, I'm getting 15 - 50k per ticket, two flights at it is profitable.

I have spent all the cash the airline had saved over the last two weeks. The fleet has expanded hugly over the last 24 hours.

All Older B737-500 have been removed before "C" check was required

Still in the process of removing the ATR and EMB120 fleet.

Tomorrow purchase will depend on the amount of cash on hand, after todays spree, that is not to much.

Share price after purchases is 6.88

All routes are profitable, awaiting Advertisemnt to drop a little before purchasing 5 day bill boards for all routes/

Brillant! Just bought 16 to bring my fleet above 100 a/c.
The first wave of 16 departures netted me $2.585M. So straight away there are 12 of them paid for!!!!! WHAT AN ABSOLUTE STEAL!!!!! To compare I bought 4 Dreamliners (B787-800) at the same time. Their 4 flights on them netted me $4.3M which is approx 22% the cost of one.

Had saved up for a couple of days. Was going to buy a big a/c. Looking at B777s and B747s. Think the best option was the B777-300 with 451 seats or the B747-400C with 410 seats.
Just couldn't make myself do it,over $70M for a single airframe? Eventually bought 4 B787-800s instead.

Biggest subfleets are now A321/13, A342/26, B788/16, A318Elite/16.

The A318 elite is one of the best planes on AM. These ae money makers, some of mine paid for themselfs on their FIRST trip.

Not much happening within Air-Madrid today, might buy a new long haul plane later today or tomorrow morning. Been looking for the A318elite but can't find it, is it still available or gone?

Seems AM developers have closed out the A318Elite aircraft, luckly I got 12 of them last night, 200k each, steal of the week.

I only bought an A318elite about an hour ago!
Seeing it paid for itself on the first flight i went back to buy more and there gone!:(

Jammy...gettign 20 of them. What a huge bonus for your airline.

I was lucky a few weeks ago as I picked up 4 A320 and 4 B739s at $5M when the type (before this it was B731/B738/A320/A321 only) was first introduced and before the updated the prices. Having got good a/c at cheap prices really assisted my growth.

This was posted in the AM forums. Its a guide to the upper and lower prices each day for fuel and advertising. If you log on and see the upper price wait till just after the hour and it should switch to the lower one.

"REALLY IMPORTANT NOTE: The costs alternate between the following TWO values throughout each day, on an hourly/bi-hourly rate - if it's the higher value, just wait until a few minutes past the hour and it should drop!!!

Hey, guys I think a DC 10-10 is a very good investment, it gives you a lot of miles as well as passengers ( 6,436 miles and 250 passengers ) for a price tag of $ 6,806,411. I mean to get that king of miles and passengers in an Airbus or Boeing is a lot more than that, I know that the fuel consumption is a lot more than an airbus, but this a/c pays me 788,000 for each flight. I recently bought a DC 8-72 for $ 9,830,403 I know is a lot for e DC 8 but, i has a lot of miles too and good passenger load ( 10,620 miles and 220 passengers ) and this a/c pays me 1,260,000 per flight, so I'll get the money back fast and it will generate sufficient bussines for me to pay the fuel.

1. Boeing 737-500 ( Los Angeles --> Nassau Bahamas )

Anyone wanting to invest in shares, try Drunken hooker Airlines. I've added 5 Boeings since thursday and stock has gone from $0.10 to $0.23 since. I'm planning on adding some more over the coming week so now's the time to invest while the shares are so cheap!

Air-Madrid's expansion continues with the recent acquisition of yet another MD80 and an A340-200. As a result, the share price has gone from 97c to 1.14. Plan for the next few days is to expand the long-range fleet with another A340-200 and possibly 2 more 767-200ER.

Still got a few shares left, so invest now! :pac:

I'm the same. Have just launched my A318Es on their second wave.

However you can no longer buy this a/c by searching for it in the Fleet section. Its pax points only now. THAT was the loophole.

Getting the A318E for 200K was an absolute steal for those players who got it. All my A318Es have now more than retunred their investment, I could sell them all when the get back and still turn a profit at second-hand prices. And posting this info several times on the AM forums was silly. It was an obvious oversight that helped players.
