Andrew76, here's the video I made for you:

Hehe, the sound of your voice totally makes the gear porn sound that bit more pornographic when you're speaking!

Unfortunately, the Irish accent totally does not make for a good broadcasting voice on the other hand.

Nothing overly rare, just a few nice additions to my NES collection.

Everyone knows side scrollers are no fun unless playing with friends.

Therefore Ciderman had no friends in the arcade and he stood there with big tears in his eyes looking for someone, anyone to play SoR with him... anyone that was old enough not to make him look like he was a creepy old guy playing with children.

Batman Returns though was great because it was one player. Let the kids have their fun on Simpsons arcade and X-Men.

It's no arcade for old men.

    ............Speaking of the Simpsons Arcade.

It was released for X-Box 360 Arcade on Wednesday.

    It scored 3.0 on gamespot...

Despite the fact it plays exactly like the original!

Edit: Added review from Classic Game Room

    Still muck you mean!
I had some fun with the old, 4 player, X-Men cab, back when it was new, not too much fun, but some!
Fingers crossed Darius II will be on the doorstep tomorrow, bringing my Nomad to work just in case, must charge that bad boy this evening!
Also Raiden III has been shipped, along with a 64mb PS2 mem card, those 8mb ones are just not good enough, especially when you have a 250+ game collection for the machine, no where to put all your saves!

Don't get too excited, never found Darius 2 all that good, the series only got good with Darius Gaiden although I know some one that thinks these views are blasphemous :P

Blasphemous? I call it downright treachery! To the gallows with you knave!

Actually, Darius II on the Mega Drive is a really good conversion, certainly it was the best home edition that is until the Saturn edition was released. The Saturn edition is pretty much arcade perfect, even coming with different screen modes to try and compensate for the fact nobody likely has an 870,000 inch television to play it on.

Darius II on the Mega Drive also has one of my favourite cover art designs ever. Ahh that legendary Hawk! :)

Well, I have it, arrived this morning and works a treat on the Nomad and MD in the gamesroom.
I'm buying an awful lot lately, 15 here, 25 there, have a feeling these numbers are all going to add up to something I'm not going to like....
Chibi Robo for the GC will be winging it's way to me soon though, 25 euro as well...

    Congrats Pyong! :D

I ordered this on ebay. You have to create a pop band, make their songs and market them. Why do I buy these things? :(

Personally looking forward to DoDonpachi Maximum on it! Plus Shoot 1Up is coming soon so worth a lookie anyway.

Is the Slim easy to mod? Would be good to use my old slim as a region-free offline console if so and keep the new one for online play.

Got myself my first MVS cartridges and took my first step into the dangerous world of Neo Geo comllecting/bankruptcy courtesy of Steve SI. Got MEtal Slug, KoF 98 and 99, Last Soldier (last blade korean style) and Real Bout Fatal Fury. Also a gamecube if anyone wants to trade.

Now all I need is a supergun and MVS motherboard. Did that supergun arrive o1s1n and how was it?

Bit of trouble with it so far. Had Enternow take a look at it for me.

If you just want a supergun for an MVS mobo, then you'd probably be better off just getting a Vogatek one with Neo Geo ports.

Here's the one with Neo Geo ports here. Just needs an ATX power supply and a standard RGB scart cable.

I heard that Catherine has actually become a big tournament game at conventions and is played alongside Street Fighter 4.

I'm not sure if I should don a 'gullible' cap here or not. Has it really? Is there a vs mode for the slide puzzles or something?

Pencil me down as clueless as I know nothing about the game bar it has a saucy looking bird on the box with massive jabs and has loads of free stuff in it. :pac:

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 50,893 CMod ✭✭✭✭Retr0gamer

When you beat the game it opens up new modes like an endless puzzle mode, co-op puzzles etc. I'm sure these modes are used in the tournaments. You are also graded on the times that you finish the story puzzles in.
