Conflict of interests? As in it's in their interest to what exactly???

If they're funding Nowinski's research to the tune of 1.5m is he as likely to come out strongly against the role of concussion as if his research was independently funded.

Vested interests have no place funding scientific research. Any research that is funded in thus way has massive question marks against it from the get go.

Anyone looking for Summer work. :p

They advertise (or used to anyway) those job on the coporate website. One a while ago specified needing expierence on writing sitcoms, but no knowledge of wrestling was required. Advertise that and what do they expect?

Might tell them that I watch Seinfeld and Impact regularly bet that'd at least get me an interview with the morons.

A lot of talk that this is Triple H's retirement angle. The end is seemingly going to be against
    Brock Lesnar..... again

Think we're all hoping that isnt the case.

The latest WM buyrates are reported as just a little over 1 million. Final number tends to be the lowest so it could end up under the million mark.

Rematchamania doesn't deserve to break the 1 million mark it should be an eye opener for planning for WM30.

    Fairly dubious claim here:

WWE has reportedly signed Samuray del Sol to a developmental deal. His deal is said to be very lucrative and valued at $1 million a year.

Samurai reportedly left a great impression on WWE officials at their try-outs and resoundingly passed all his medical examinations for the promotion. He is going to be moving to Florida to join WWE NXT in the coming months.

A tag partner for Botch Cara?

WM29 needs to only be in and around the million mark, or else they won't buck their ideas up for 30.

it really was pathetic what they did for that build, looking back.

I don't understand WWEs thinking when it comes to this, they want people who aren't "wrestling" people, then fire the ones they hire who are exactly that. It's like if you come in with a knowledge of the business you're a "mark" and that's bad, but if you know sfa about wrestling that's bad as well? make up your bloody minds!

Two bits of ****ty news today.

Firstly, and more importantly, Hector Garza has died from lung cancer at 43. He had a short spell in WCW and was well on his way to being a top guy in TNA before getting deported. Most of his career was in Mexico where he was a big deal. Only upside is at least it wasnt drug related.

Secondly, the indy scene loses another big one:

That's an old and fake pic.

Hector was going to pushed to the absolute moon in TNA too.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

Whatever about the picture, he still signed:

CONGRATS:to @RESISTANCE_Pro star/RISING SUN tag member @samuraydelsol on his @WWE signing! Show the rest of the world what we already know!

I just finished watching that time recently, they were really getting behind him, it's a shame. They announced year end awards on the first iMPACT! of 2005 and he won who to watch in 2005 but was never seen again. I always liked him, RIP.

    Source

WWE is going ahead with the Big E Langston babyface turn, in part because Mark Henry is out with a hurt shoulder. There is some kind of heat on Henry for being out hurt. Apparently WWE officials had something big planned for Henry and aren’t happy that he’s taking time off when surgery isn’t needed. Before Extreme Rules, Langston vs. Henry was being planned for this summer.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

Isnt the shoulder what kept Henry out the last time? If it is, I dont blame him for not wanting to risk injuring it again. A small injury is better than a big injury.

BigE would be good as a face, so would Ziggler, done right there could be an excellent fued against the Shield

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,820 ✭✭✭grames_bond

Didn't know where else to put this - so here is Dolphs new T-Shirt....how the hell do WWE Get away with this?! I think it's brilliant!

I think Ziggler would end up going the Miz route if he was a babyface. It's just not him. He should be a heel whenever possible.

    Knowing TNA, probably.

MVP, Batista and Kid Kash () have all taken to Twitter already to deny it is them.

I'd watch TNA if Kid Kash was in the Women's Division (I dunno if they still have the Women's Division)
