Yea it says its out now but I thougt it was the 28?

Same here. Downloaded fine but not connecting to Sky service. Even Skyplayer on the laptop is experiencing the same problems.

Working now.

Its very slow through the menus, but id say that down to it just being released.

The video quality is great, better than hooking the laptop to the tv.

At work now, can't download to try (mightn't even bother if the line-up is that pants) ... On the XBox site, it is giving a 'offer code' for three months for the price of two if you aren't a sky subscriber.

Will try it again evening, I have Sky but no multiroom, so I am assuming I can watch any of the On Demand stuff, but no live TV.

Just a quick question about this...how do you go about registering for this and what exactly do you need? I dont have Sky but my parents do and last I checked they don't have a 360. I'm guessing I can register with their details, yeah?

Constant errors. Failing to connect.

Managed just a few minutes ago to log-in using my sky player account and link my Xbox...only for the connection to time out again.

Got Sky News on - nice quality feature using the left and right bumpers allowing you to increase or decrease the quality depending on your connection.

Can't use Sky Player on the PC - site seems to be down. The skyplayer website where you might subscribe to certain packs will not even allow me to log in - time's out every time.

Quick question as i'm not at home.. is it possible to setup, then delete a Sky sub, only to set a new one up?

Reason I'm asking is wanna give this a go tonight (and I'll use my own "no-frills" Sky sub) but at the weekend, I'm gonna get my brothers Sky sub (with multiroom etc).

But hope it won't be bound to my sub if I add that first.

I've a Sky account (not in my name) and I've set one up on the Sky website. Do I have to give my current account details or can I just enter the Sky card number that should show that we've a multiroom sub at home?

When I set up my account on the Sky website it said that I have to be accepted by the bill payer as a secondary user in order to use Sky player my computer.

Just wondering if I have to be accepted as the secondary user if I'm to be allowed to use the Sky Player on the Xbox.

Also is set up my laptop before for sky player but I rebooted my pc a few weeks back, now i try to log in and it wont let me do I have to re set up my account? I hope so then I can just use it on my 360

The download in only just over 12meg - so shouldn't take that long really. Even with my beyond crappy Eircom "Broadband" connection is was downloaded in no time.

If this was announced yesterday I could understand these issues but not with such lead time before actual launch.

Have they simply underestimated the numbers of people who would be interested in subscribing?

In Video Marketplace or on the Spotlight part, when I turned on the xbox it was right there...

Nothing about Sky Player on Video marketplace or SPotlight at the moment.

was just about to ask the same question, i had sky player downloaded to 360 same errors as everyone else so switched 360 off came back after about half an hour and now theres no sky player anywhere, no icon for the programme nothing

According to OXMs Twitter:

Sky is apparently working on the Sky Player problems. It's currently gone from our NXE menus. No Eurosport table tennis for us yet...
