    There is another big patch update. If you login after the update and get error 9 it's OK. It just means 'your login information is correct, but there is currently no beta on'

    Nevermind sorted, thanks for the code.

    Downloading now, am i right in thinking im only provided with the option to download the client once my account is flagged to have beta access?
    Would be uncool to download all 16 GB and not have access.

    Im guessing the reason i cant login via the launcher that im downloading with is because there is no event live at the moment?

    Yep, the login in the launcher is a relatively new thing. Used to be that you had to log out of the game just to switch character, this is their fix for that.

    It should mean that once the game is live you log in on the launcher and go to character select straight away. This is good because it's really fast, and bad because the music in the old menu was so nice :P

    8pm, though they usually have the servers up a little earlier.

    Please let us know what you think. Tera has made me never want to play an MMO again, or any game (!!) so my hopes are really pinned on this

    Characters have been wiped and will be wiped again once the beta is over to prepare for launch.

    Also Think a few of us are moving over to the server "Desolation" this time incase anyone would like to join

    Yes there is a wipe before and after this beta w/end.

    The official start is 12pm pacific time. Given its daylight savings pacific that's 7pm local time.
    So I'll start trying around 6.30!

    Awesome. The two 'new' races are pretty cool as are the new areas. All the jumping puzzles are fun. The 'vistas' arent too difficult but the ones that arent 'mapped' are pretty tough.
    Tried WvW for the first time and it was fun.
