    Waterford vs Dublin boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
This time last year both teams played each other in the same pitch and as the first game and Waterford hammered them by 13 points :P

But we're without loads atm and have a load of young fellas playing(\o/) so it's gonna be tougher coz Dublin have a near full strength team bar McCrabbe and Tracey or something...

Last year McCrabbe got an unmerciful belt across the leg so I'd say he was making sure to be out for this game tbh <.< Poor guy rushed off in an ambulance..
Be leaving in another half an hour ish

    Cant. Effing. Wait. :D:D:D

    Woo gwaaaaaaaan limerick :D

Wasn't a great game although the result was nice :) Clare 0-6 limerick 2-9.

Pissing rain too at the start which slowed it down and alot of players were fumbling. I gotta say though, it's bleedin' great to have a team! Paul Browne (someone I wasn't a fan of before) actually was on fire today (MOTM) and same with dodge.
A few new lads doing well with the likes of Downes at full forward and Number 11 (didn't get a programme so unaware of who he was but he was dacent).

    Buzzin' atm :D

I found this line-up in the GAA forum, it might help figure out who was wearing #11:

    Thank you!
It was James Ryan... oh! Shur he's a great hurler anyways so now I'm not surprised :)
Good day for Limerick hurling. Even if Clare were brutal, there was some great individual performances from the treaty. woo! :D

    The goalkeeper from last year?
    He's a sub keeper now I think.

I always thought he was quite reliable tbh! Why bear a grudge, may I ask? :P

Yet another loss for us. We've 15 losses in a row in the league (football) but we're favourites to beat Cavan tomorrow. I still have no hope though. :(

Lads Im being fully honest when I tell you this.
If you have even the slightest interest in hurling, watch the De La Salle and Clarenbrige match on the TG4 beo player.
It was an unreal match, people are calling it the best hurling game in a long time, let alone club game.

It had everything bar the schmozzles and red card, although there was no dirty strokes in the game so nothing merited this but schmozzles always add to a game..
But anyway im not even going to tell anyone the score, because it was jsut so unreal. Down to the last second of time it was anybodies game...
Lads, mind blown.. That is the reason people should watch gaa, esecially hurling.. It was seriously wow.. Its what most gaa websites are talking about, not Dublin beating Tipp in the hurling or any the football games..
Its all about Clarenbridge and De La Salle in what has to be the most epic match I have ever seen, in terms of excitement, and it was pretty good hurling for February too.

So guys if you have a spare, ehh while, please watch this match, it is pure amazing!!!!

I only watched the extra time, but even then it was class!

Don't follow hurling at all but I seen some of that game and it was class :D

  • Moderators, Education Moderators Posts: 7,853 Mod ✭✭✭✭suitcasepink

Yea Im telling you, a girl from school that knows nothing about hurling was in the car somewhere and her dad was listening to it and even she said it was amazing!

But most of those scores were pure class, you wouldnt see much better anywhere else...
It was seriously some skill for such a "heavy" pitch.
    But yea, wow! :P

Yup, looked perfectly legit from what I saw. The commentators were convinced too.

Dublin / Kerry, maybe the later premiership match and I will have UFC 127 recorded.

Is UFC on ESPN tonight? I watched 126 a few weeks ago and was blown away. Best fight card I've seen in ages.

Yeah, same time as the American events, with some prelims on FB and ESPN at 2.

I was blown away aswell particularly when Anderson Silva landed that kick.

Actually, I'm not sure if there's a late Premiership game today. I think ESPN are showing a Bundesliga match at half five.

Watching this during the half-time break in the soccer. Some atmosphere! Both teams doing well to keep the game so exciting for over an hour.

Your right. Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich is on but both are in the top 3 in the table in the Bundesliga. Worth a watch before Dublin / Kerry.

Ireland are so frustrating at the moment in the rugby. So much talent in the team, play really well at times and then almost throw the game away due to horrendous ill discipline against inferior teams like Scotland.

Just finished watching the cricket. That was awesome - fantastic result for Ireland.
