Andy Carroll was injured for a minute or two, after hyper-extending his knee.

Shortly afterwards, Jamie Carragher knocked himself out in a clash of heads with another Liverpool defender. It took about six minutes to get him collared, conscious and on a stretcher.

And then the ball was out of play a lot during the original 8 minutes that were added on. :pac:

So Limerick have won every division two game this year, preety happy :) Hopefully we can deliver against Clare in the final and regain division 1 status next year. I'm fairly hopeful.

It'd be a great boost going in against Waterford in the championship too :)

I would like to have that same optimism about Dublin footballers but the problem with championship is that most of the league form goes out the window. Waterford (thank you so much for today, very much appreciated) are coming off a very good win in the league against a good Galway team. You never know particularly in the Munster hurling championship. 5 teams that are very capable of beating each other.

I know what you mean unknown. But particularly with Limerick who've seen their first relegation to div2 since ever. I think if we beat clare, it'd definitely be a boost especially because of the whole strike last year and everything. However, clare absolutely hammered carlow out the window yesterday, bleh.

Of course I'm not sure how the munster championship will pan out though. It's fairly unpredictable for the mostpart.

Great stuff from Dublin today. They made it look like a training session for those last ten minutes. Anyone who can keep KK to 1-07 must have something about them. Will be an interesting AI this year.

In football, the title race looks to be right back on track now. Whoever wins between Man U and Chelsea goes top next week.

Yeah, City look like they have it, I'm glad to say.
At least you have a game-in-hand to try to nab fifth off Liverpool.

Since City will get European Football through the league and Stoke are in the final, they're getting Europa League football next season. Birmingham already have it through the cup so that only leaves fifth place getting a Europa League spot this year.

Wow. What a match that was. Federer Vs Djokovic , Rolland Garros semi-final. Djokovic going into the match with a 43 match winning streak and the knowledge he would be world number 1 if he won the match, Federer going in after being demoted to world number 3 because of Djokovic and not playing to his best ability this season. It was known that the math was going to be good, but my GOD was it good!! Go on Federer for putting an end to Djokovics streak, that win will certainly put him back up there at the best of his game ! Hard luk to Djokovic, really feel for him but it was his time to lose.

Between that and the red card decision, that ref will be lucky if he gets to officiate another Championship game this year!

Couldn't happen to a more deserving team though.

Rather disappointed about limerick losing today to waterford in the hurling seeing as we had it in the bag. Even though we had our missed oppurtunities, one had to feel sour at that second half point for limerick being called wide and that BLATANT free in the dying seconds not being called for us.

Ah sure, things are looking up and people gave limerick no chance but we've some brilliant players. Downes, 2 goals on his championship debut. My man of the match even when putting bias aside. Things are looking up but just at times today, the decisions didn't go our way and niall fookin moran attempting to score from 60 yards out with no hope
