Armstrong is 13 and a half minutes off Andy Schleck after today in Le Tour. I'm devastated about it to be honest. It would have been great if he could at least compete for the title, there's not a chance of that now :(

I'm digging for Andy Schleck now. It'd be great if he got the Junior title and the General classification.

    Dublin v Armagh
    Wexford v Cork
    Derry v Kildare
    Offaly v Down

Armagh or Offaly was the team I would have wanted. Looks like Armagh probably in Croker next week.

    Expect those teams will win.
Although Kildare v Derry is a hard one to call.

Armagh won't be Dublin. Armagh are not good and even though Dublin aren't great they will still be able to do enough to win.

I wouldn't be surprised if Armagh do beat them tbh!
    Dublin are in horrible form...

I really think that Armagh will do it.
McDonnell scored 6 points today against Fermanagh.
One of Armagh's biggest scoring threats.
But sure, we can never really tell with Dublin.

    Okay, WC time.
    Netherlands or Spain?
My heart says The Netherlands. Head says Spain though.

(great day for the sports, eh? :D)

Typical Waterford its not over till its over! Tony Browne eh? Nearing 37 and he playing the full 70mins and been snakey nuff to be on his own, effing ledge :D Ref was migtey, i wont say poor but inconsistant like that free we got... Both teams got away with worse but sillier things were blown up. Cork through it away and that was a howler of a wide from Cussen, couldnt take the heat! Overall waterford would have to be the happier team and I really think we could win it next week!! Mon the Deise :D BTW What happend in the football though??

I'd have to agree with you there, unfortunately! Would love to see the Dutch win it, but that feckin' German octopus has me expecting a Spanish victory...

You didn't hear about it, no?
In the last few seconds of the match (like dying moments we're talking here!), Meath (Joe Sheridan) got a goal.
But firstly, it was a square ball.
And secondly, he fell over the line so it was like a touchdown. He didn't handpass the ball in or kick it in. He touched it down over the goal line.

And after all the louth fans and players disputing, he went over to ONE (Just one!!) umpire and called it a goal after about 2 seconds.
Supposedly, from what the Louth manager said, the ref didn't even ask the umpire about it and he just said to him "raise the green flag. its a goal".

Then when the game was over, Louth supporters started attacking him.
    Disgrace.

Oh and when the goal was given, Louth were leading by a point.

Hopefully no major referring mistakes in this game...we've had enough of them today to say the least.

I wonder if other television networks also refused to show the pitch invader...

He just looked completely out of sorts today. Being involved in crash after crash is really nothing like the Armstrong of old.. I know there's bad luck, but that was unfortunate. He definitely gave up the ghost after a while and didn't even bother chasing tbh. Maybe he gave up so much time in the hopes that at least now he might be let up the road in a break and go for a stage win. The only hope he has now tbh.

Delighted for Andy Schleck, he's always come across very well in my opinion and it'd be great to see another young winner!

Nicolas Roche did amazingly well today, he was only dropped with 6km to go and he beat a fair few riders that he wouldn't have been expected to - Vinokourov and Armstrong amongst them. He's in 16th place overall, just 3'11" down on Evans, who is in the malliot jaune tonight. And every rider ahead of him is world-class. Hopefully he can continue this form the rest of the way through the Tour, although he's always going to struggle on the highest of mountains compared to the best.

    I fcuking hate Davy Fitz.
And Asaike is one of the biggest whingers ive ever seen.Constantly crying to the umpires and the ref that he was being nudged.Christ if he thinks Lawlor was bad wait till he has to deal with Noel Hickey. He'll get his fcukin head taken off

    I lovvvveee Davy Fitz :D
His fits on the sideline when he gets all nervous and excited are hilarious!

But I honestly can't see any team beating KK this year.

*waits nervously for someone to score in the WC*

That could have been embarassing for Casillas

    He's a sh!t manager though.

    He's a sh!t manager though.

    How so? :)
He's guided LIT to Fitzgibbon Cup titles.
Brought Waterford to an AI final (end result was.. well tbf KK were on fire that day), AI semi-final last year, Munster final this year.

But then again, I'm not from Waterford so I really don't know as much as you'd know on the current situation.

    Now c'mon Holland! :o

It's very hard to watch a game like this after being treated to such entertainment in the GAA games today.

    Serious yawnfest.

Were you at the game? :) The tv couldnt show it the whole time but..
I swear not once did Lawlor leave him alone down there, he followed every step Aisake took and Aiskae was pacing then(all throughout Lawlors time, regardless of where the ball was) he just kept nagging at him, standing on his foot small pushes mouthing to him anything to get under him.. In fairness I cant fault Lawlor, he kept Aisake out of the game.. Aiskae ran to the umpires though and the ref.. Peeps wont like him for being a moaner :/
The only reason he was took off was coz he probs woulda gotten a second yellow before the game was out.. But God... I think I woulda preferred to be one man down then to bring Nagle on >.<

I'm finding the football very dull. :/

I know.I was laughing at it.Lawlor was doing everything he had to do.Just drove him nuts from before the throw in.I think it was stupid taking him off though. How many times has Tommy Walsh for example been on yellows and not taken off.
He wasnt even fouling him.Aisakes just weak as fcuk and does like to whinge & dive. Like I said, if he thinks Lawlor was rough, when he comes up against Noel hickey he'll have a fcuking heart attack
