I'm really enjoying Outland. Theres times in my WoW career that something happens where your love for the game boosts and you know its going to take someting serious to knock your confidence and make you wanna quit.

A few months back it was me on The Maelstrom joining a good high end guild who I just ran instances with constantly and then some raids.

Nowadays its the move to outland which is the best thing I think me and Gj ever did. Theres a vibrant irish community who are great laugh and you are never short of a helping hand or a good chat.

Today there was an announcement of mounts being changed slightly.

Costs and levels you acquire them at changing.


Apprentice Riding (Skill 75)
60% land mount speed
Requires level 20
Cost: 4 gold
Mount cost: 1 gold
Mail will be sent to players at level 20 guiding them to the riding trainer

Journeyman Riding (Skill 150)
100% land mount speed
Requires level 40
Cost: 50 gold
Mount cost: 10 gold
Mail will be sent to players at level 40 guiding them back to the riding trainer

Expert Riding (Skill 225)
150% flying mount speed; 60% land mount speed
Requires level 60
Cost: 600 gold (faction discounts now apply)
Mount Cost: 50 gold
Can now be learned in Honor Hold (Alliance) or Thrallmar (Horde)

Artisan Riding (Skill 300)
280% flying mount speed; 100% land mount speed
Requires level 70
Cost: 5,000 gold (faction discounts now apply)
Mount Cost: 100 gold

Thats going to make levelling my alts a hell of a lot easier. I think you still need the usual **** to fly in northrend though, but its nice to see they are changing the pace it takes to get through vanilla content, and should help my alts.

After this weekend my mighty RAF will be gone, so I will be focusing primarily on the Warlock getting him to 80 and geared.

Second on my list is getting the Paladin to 60, then Mage, then Druid.

And continuing that order to 80.

It is going to take me a long time and there is no quick way for me to do it, work alot, airsoft alot, girlfriend alot, so its about being efficent with the time I have available to me and I think I've done that nicely.

One thing I'm always thinking about is will I be good enough to join all the lads into heroics and raids

I don't get to raid much these days, just the odd Thursday - so I've killed Yogg etc 4 times but never killed Ignis! Ah well, as long as I'm no.1 on the healing meters by a silly amount (not hard as I'm a Druid hot spammer) I'm happy.

S severe logistical ****up by Dar ment we got 90 minutes downtime and I lost faith.

Paladin went from 44 -53
Druid went from 36 - 53
Mage went from 50- 53

Not bad for a nights work

So are you all Horde or Alliance? I have a 80 Ally Paladin on Outland, also a level 31 Druid.

I really want to change to Horde though, as I haven't played since Christmas and want to get back into it.

Would you guys suggest investing in RAF? Is it really that much faster?

I remember a while ago there was a group from here starting from scratch again on Outland, were they Horde or Alliance? And can anyone remember the guild name?

Myself and reddy have rolled on outland, were doing RAF and the thing is were leveling fast so naturally were skipping through the zones alot faster and missing alot of quest reward gear upgrades.

Anybody fancy spotting us a lil gold?

And fyi ive been playing cs since beta ;P

oh and the horde guild PvP Affliction, do they make it a daily habit of haunting level 40 zones for mass gankage? got raped about 6 times trying to do Q's in Tanaris yesterday >_<
