Excellent price, best I can find. They are available from www.jedi-sports.de

I called and had a chat with them first, all my queries were handled with perfect german efficiency :) They were busy packaging up over 50 Carbone wheel sets to send out to customers so its safe to say they are a big operation.

Sounds like a good price alright seeing as they are €867 on CRC - do you mind me asking where you got them? Enjoy ;)

And €28 extra for shipping was it? Can't believe I never heard of or came across that site until now, cheers ;)

yup, extra 28e for shipping. Think they also do a package for 759e which includes the wheelset, plus 2 michelin pro3 race tyres, tubes and bartape

Seeing as we're not going wool with the new Boards Jersey, I felt I had to!

I called them this afternoon. They were expecting a delivery but they'll be there on the 14th instead :(
If you have ordered them already, you will be allocated a set when they come in next week. *(that's exactly what they said to me )

Hi Caroline did you get your Pro Lites yet and if so what do you think of them

My Giant FCR will be getting an upgrade from flat bars over the week or so: Shimano STI shifters (Sora), Easton Drop Bars, Blue bar tape, Mavic Open Sport rim, and, eh, a spoke key.

Yes! received them today and used it to race in brittas tonight. They are very light and they look really nice. They feel really good and the free wheel isn't very loud at all. I only used them once so I can't really say much more about them except that they feel nice.
Did you get them as well?

After last weekends windy cycling and across road excursions something had to be done - something along the lines of ('Girly wheel' haters look away now) Campag Eurus Tubeless wheels and Hutchinson Fusion tyres. Had to be done. A necessity in fact.

I met murph on Sunday - isn't that what he has on the Argon?

Nice wheels. Will go well with the bike.

Cheers lad, he's got the Shamals one step further up the food chain - there's only 110 odd grams in the weight difference and 300 yoyo price difference! but they've identical rims and spokes so I figure training a little harder and shedding the few grams off myself is by far and away the best idea.

Was VERY windy out on the Dingle Peninsula last weekend and the cosmics were catching a load of air in the cross winds, some very hairy moments over the course of the ride. Any notion of doing that Dingle sportive this weekend coming? Haven't heard much about it but it could be a handy recce of the roads for when the Conor Pass challenge comes along?

I would do it but will be in south of France this weekend. You.

South of France - Nice (or as they say here 'noice, bud').

Have to see what way work is but considering giving the Dingle club a twist and doing it - will be handy to know what state the roads are in before we open registration for our ride anyway.

I hate Joe Dalys, twice I've been in there and twice I've seen something I want and I've droped a €100 each time. Today it was these and shammy cream.

I never saw the point of this thread, until I went and dropped 200€ on a set of high-flange Dura-Ace track hubs for a wheel-building project I'm undertaking

    tee hee

No sooner had I clicked 'buy' than I regretted not looking around for a set of those sheriff-star shaped beauties I've seen from time to time. Still, excited :)
