I find if you're not a regular poster in some forums that the regular ones have a holier than thou attitude.

Absolutely can't stand people like that, they make me

That's true I suppose but I don't know if I'd describe my Dad that way. He tends to make inappropriate jokes without thinking about what he's saying. I don't think he's a bad person for it. It does annoy me, big time, and it's not like I haven't tried to explain things.

My grandad does it sometime and I am quick to pull him up on it . Don't accept any of that bulll**** . I don't like public displays of affection but the is regardless of sexual preference. But I am such a hypocrite as when I am loopy about someone I don't give a crap . :pac:

Um I am with you gremie with the whole lost feelings . I don't really feel like going into it atm though but I do understand *hugs*

you try to do something good and you are just met with an underlying tone of snide. posted about a lost dog and the way some people speak to you makes it out like you are doing the absolutely wrong thing. I have been completely put off in posting there again.
Has put me in a really ****ty mood now

Oh I can totally relate to this Sammy. I love animals and I go out of my ways to help people look for lost dogs or try help people re home animals. But I have run into the brigade of humans who seem to think that giving up an animal for re homing is the equivalent of giving up your kids to a concentration camp. Or if you feed your dog brand x type dog food, you're giving your dog cancer on purpose and you're the worst human possible.

It's all self righteous bull **** at the end of the day. These people don't have any validation in their own lives so they only way to get it is to log on to boards and nit pick other peoples posts. End of the day it's a reflection of how cuckoo they actually are..

F'ing stupid ahole of a dentist. Went a couple of weeks ago because I was in agony with a tooth I'd not long gotten a filling in, was sent away with sensitive toothpaste feeling silly like I was over reacting. Was away last weekend with my boyfriend in Dublin, the pain got unbearable and ended up having to get an emergency appointment with a dentist up there. Turns out the nerve in my tooth was completely dead and I had a massive infection which spread to the bone and I needed a root canal. My complete douche of a dentist missed all of that and now I am in complete agony and down 500 Euro for the pleasure. Fcuk you!!

Feeling a bit stressed in general, sh1t just got real with my course, now that I'm trying to do my assignment and researching my answers I'm finding it quite tough.
Also bit stressed about my family's operation which is next Thursday, I know they'll fairly out of action for a while and probably in a lot of pain, and I hate seeing someone so close to me unwell or in pain as it is! Trying not to think what happens if the op doesn't go to plan or if the cancer develops anyway.

Bf and I are going to Dublin for counselling in a few weeks time and very nervous about it:o

    Blah!:(

    thanks wolfie:)

want to cry and want this to be over :o

Poor Smiler. As Wolfie said, this will pass and there will be better days. I have been were you are with a sick family member and the weight of the world on your shoulders. It's an awful place to be but you will move on and things will get better.

Take some time out for yourself girl. Go shopping or visit friends. Get away for a little while and blow out the cobwebs. Don't start dwelling on the what ifs because you will drive yourself mad. Take care of yourself pet!

thanks mozz:) with a bit of luck things will be ok, i'll be a nervous wreck on Thursday but will try to keep myself busy. You guys are the closest things I have as friends :o but I'm with family this weekend so hopefully that'll help even though I don't feel like socialising, really appreciative your reply:) will try to look after myself

Yeah, writer, as Mozz says, try to keep in your mind that you won't always feel this stress. Time goes by and everything changes, hopefully for the better.

I know it's easy to say, but try not to be consumed by worries about the future, especially if you can do nothing to affect it! You can really only deal with things as they happen, and perhaps things will turn out better than you could hope.

I hope everything turns out well for you. Mind yourself. :):)

My glands are sore, my collar-bone is sore, my neck feels like it's gonna fall off I really don't know how it hasn't already. My nail-beds are sore can't touch anything 'cos my fingers feel burned. I won't even go into other similar things, - some things have no requirement to be said out loud.:o:pac::D And there's a whole host of other sensory things I would be here all night if I stayed writing. My Myalgic stuff is sore, my face is sore, bones under my eyes and on the eye-brow giving me a headache. everything all over hurts so bad. I feel so miserable. :/ My Lymphatic System is fcuked and I wish somebody could fix it all but I don't live in Merricka where they take these things seriously unfortunately. :( ;( If only I could roll back the last 3/4 years and not get randomly unfairly struck down by something that there's no explanation for. ;( I didn't do anything wrong. :( Time has merged so much I'd actually need to look up notes to remember if it was either 3 or 4 years ago! It's all the same now at this stage anyway! But I remember when it all happened I just felt different. Only thorn in the side is there was no actual reason I just fell ill randomly suddenly and never got better!

Would often hear people say they need a new body after a long race or strenuous exercise, but this is soooo suitable a scenario to have my body put back together! It's like the perfect solution! :O :pac::) If only! :/

Hey KMQ, you sound really ill... While I know you from the forums in places I don't know if you have an illness of any type or this is new. Short term if you don't have to be anywhere, don't go, look after yourself, I'm online for the night if you want to chat via pm..

I have a chronic acute pain problem so can empathise with the misery that some people go through.

    *hugs*

I use ABP, but I disable it on pretty much all of my regular sites like boards, webcomics, any other forums etc. It's a handy thing to have.

Feeling kinda pissed and more than a bit disgusted. Read a story about an ex-NFL cheerleader (47), who met a 15 year old online, bought him booze and had oral sex with him. She then tried to actually sleep with him, but the kid said no. Kid wound up telling his father about this, and the woman got arrested cause she had sexual contact with a minor, which is most definitely illegal. (Also for giving him booze, but that's kinda secondary)

And what do I see most people talk about from this? "Oh, that kid is crazy for not sleeping with her!" "Man, he should go to jail instead for turning it down!" "Oh that's not rape, she's hot!"

F*ck that, stuff like this is why I quite often feel so misanthropic.

And another very similar story popped up with a female teacher and a male student with the exact same sentiments. The article actually argued that it was a good thing. I give up, I really do.
