Is there something wrong with the Dublin radar - ppn seems to be 'cutting off' mid Irish Sea. Certainly does not seem to representative of what's falling here?

Noticed that earlier myself, i think the UK must run at a higher resolution to the Irish one and shows precip therefore that the Irish one cannot?
Definitely odd how UK bright colours precip shears mid Irish sea to light or nothing.

Horrible strong sleety rainy snow on Camden St. Never mind driving, it's fairly treacherous walking conditions:eek:

Just started again. Falling moderately. It couldn't be as heavy as yesterday. Could it?

Radar shows nothing but heavy fluffy snow here again, covering up the slight melt earlier.

Just starting snowing again here now! Wasnt expecting it to be honest. Air 0.3c and DP -0.4c, they have lifted a little but I suppose thats due to it having clouded over?

I think you'll only get snow tonight at higher levels (for counties along the east coast) - hope I'm wrong!

Maybe for you SC, but in Nth Co. Dublin it's the rain all the way. :(
I can't see that changing overnight, I really can't. It's all been the wrong side of marginal both tonight and last night.

My thoughts have turned to our prospects for the rest of February.

Unforuntately met.ie site doesnt seem to be veery accurate tonight.

For precipitationj likelyhood chceck out http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/radar/index.html

SE Ireland could see a lot of precipitation - snow inland and on high ground..sleet and snow for lucky folk by the coast.
