History C1 (was hoping for a lot more in this, but oh well)

I got the exact points I needed for my number 1 choice, so hopefully when Monday rolls round it will work out. Even if it doesn't, the results I got for Art and English especially were very encouraging. It will be lovely to get into my course, but I'm very happy anyway.

Didn't get enough for my first choice which was really the only one I wanted. Not sure what'll I'll do

Can someone explain how the alert list works please? I was really hoping to get into waterford but didnt get the required maths grade, so I have to go somewhere else, but does the alert list and available and vacant spaces section on the CAO website work like this: Even if you didnt put this course down on your CAO, but you meet the requirements and the course is on the alert list/vacant spaces sections, you can get into the course? If so how do you go about doing this? Thanks in advance.

I needed about 300 and got 420 (lol).

A lot of stress off the shoulders, I was almost throwing up this morning.

Sorry for those that didn't get what they wanted but it's not the end of the world. My sister didn't get her first few choices but really enjoyed the one she did get, she graduated this year and is going for her masters so think positive.
