Played on a cash table with him in Killarney (really sound bloke) where he tells me that QQ is a terrible hand. He asks me what % of the time an overcard comes on the board when you have QQ. Before I can answer he says as if by certain logic it's around 90% :rolleyes:. He then says you have 8 chances for ace or k x 5 cards = 40 divided by 45 = 90%, simple..

JJ must be really bad so. 180% chance of an overcard. i knew i should always dump them:o

He is very well known for coming out with these kinds of stats while at the table. You are wasting your time arguing back with him over the accuracy of his figures - just smile and nod! Really nice guy.

he put me on complete tilt at the ipc. had spent last 4 hours on tv table and probably 7 in total playing with big c marty smith marc goodwin julian gardner and nicky power plus that hot spanish chick, table get broken and am delighted to be set loose to reek havoc on gen pop.

raise it up with 77 and this twat goes all in for about 40k blinds are prob 200 400 , i says wtf and he shows me an ace, i ask him is he afraid to play flops, now bearing in mind his attitude to pp i am a savage dog to a raggyace, he probably slow plays king rag.

i can hear him goin on about his alternative thery of poker and i must admit that someone talkin through their hole about odds and stuff drives me bonkers, mea culpa i have often used inane drivel to the same effect .

any way he got me later when i jam OTT with 10's against his ep raise with ak inevitable k on river send him to end of day i within reach of the chip lead .

probably is a nice guy but i have given him verbals when i crossed paths in killarney
