    As of 8pm also-the arklow bypass is the coldest Nra station in the country.
    Now that doesn't happen very often!

    Cloudy , ESE 5.9 mph , 3.9c , DP 0.9C.........always nice to get a few dry weeks but tbh this past 6 days ( for me ) is getting rather monotonous , though things about to get much more interesting for me in the coming week , some very low mins forecast for Prague :D.......i haven't broken the bad news to the tropical loving Mrs KY yet , erm.....later :rolleyes:.

    3.8c here atm with DP +0.5c - rain would appear to be knocking on the door!

    Yesterday evening looked so promising for a cold night - reached -0.4c at 1845 but rose steadily from there on.

    Temp almost touched -4c yesterday evening and then rose rapid as a west wind came up making the post midnight overnight min just -0.4c

    Currently 3.6c with a dp of 0.7c

    Light rain here too.
    It's an example of how bad the models and even forecaster input and interpretation has been of them that yesterday,the forecast was for sleet and snow in places whereas today they only mention rain.

    Of course we only got a little bit of continental air but none of the artic feed from our Easterly.
    As I've always said,that would take about 4 or 5 days to travel from moscow.
    Without it the air cold as it is from the near continent is simply too weak to withstand mixing with it's atlantic cousin.

    Grey and a sweltering 6.1C near Roscrea.

    There were a few sunny spells earlier,it felt pleasantly warm in them.

    well.....took a spin up the Dublin Mountains and it is snowing there (just back 15 minutes ago).

    Was 0c on the car thermo around the gate to Kippure, was very foggy and was snowing. Will post picture in the picture gallery.

    Down here it's 3.6c with the sun peeping through now.

    A little drizzle earlier but that has stopped now and sky is clearing. 2.6c ATM. I can see some snow on the mountains.

    Low of -4.5c here last night. That was before midnight.

    For the last 4 days I've gone to bed under clear skies but awoken to a layer of cloud that breaks slowly in the afternoon or early evening.

    Saw that! I thought that blob of ppn on the radar was anaprop but obviously not!

    Must be relatively shallow cold layer/air at ground level.

    -1.0c here too but skies are clear.
