Open Box Sale – October 2008

Thank you for coming to our open box sale. During the sale we clear out the following types of products; ex-display, ex-repair and samples, however the most common type of open box product are ‘14 day exchanges’, these are products that have been purchased by our Customers and returned within 14 days in exchange for another item.


Terms and Conditions

• All goods are available on a first come first served basis only, goods cannot be reserved.
• Goods are available to Boardies who post on this forum only - goods will not be held over the phone.
• A maximum of 5 items are available to each Customer - there can be no exceptions to this rule - otherwise the Guy at the back of the Queue gets nothing!
• You can ask for a further discount – but we already make a huge loss on our open box sales and we get sensitive when people try to eat into what’s left of our pension fund – and the 1st guy who offers the asking price gets the deal!
• If the goods are in any way unsuitable, or do not work for any reason, we offer a 7 day refund or exchange at the Customers discretion from the date of receipt – any goods to be returned have to be returned at the Boardies own cost – either to our Richer Sounds Belfast office or to our Philips Shop in Central Dublin.
• Any refunds will be made by cheque only from our head office - this may take up to 7 working days to reach you - we will not process any instore cash refunds.
• The ‘Was €’ prices refer to the recommended retail prices, the original retail price or the typical going price in the period we have sold the product - we have attempted to err on the side of caution however it is intended as a guide only.
• The warranty period is standard 1 year – in the event of a fault we will only refund the actual price paid – not the original sale price.
• To get a product please just post on this forum – we will contact you over the next 24 hours by PM
• You can call us until 10 PM tonight (the 30th October) on 01.843.9231 or 087.2416588 in the event of Queries or if you are desperate to give us your credit card details – however we will not release goods unless you have posted publically1st!
• If you post you are not obliged to purchase as we will chat with you 1st – so if there is a product you are after and it appears to have been snaffled already – post anyway and you may get a second chance
