Don.t usually post on this thread , reasion being i dont have a 'proper' Weather Station atm , but i do have a cheapo WS , and several Sensor Tech thermometers , and all reading just under 2c .........had a very slight soft hail shower earlier...........in Kerry...........still Autumn........one word..........extraordinary.

Tell me about it, was up a ladder and a cherry picker mainly on north facing parts of the houses I'm working on from 8am till 4. Took me the hour's drive home to thaw out...
Coldest air temp my thermometer recorded last night was -1.1C...there was black ice in front of the house when I was leaving at 7 this morning.
No snow though...did look like it might at one stage this afternoon...

Currently 0.7 here. Recorded a minimum of 0.0 at some time between 7am and 7pm today! And a max of 5.7.

Maxed out at 6.9c. Last nights low was 3c. There was a lot of cloud overhead, but clear skies to the south at first light, probably why Kilkenny got a -0.5c.

Currently 1.1c and light 2mph breeze from WSW. Dew -0.7c.

Looking at the sat24.com page, that system off Iceland has got speed, I expect it will be over us by 8am.

Officially sub zero here now with a -0.1c and a dew point of -1.1c

Wind has died out completely which is allowing the temps to fall off now. Was holding between 0c and 1c since last post. The valley here is rather like a hourglass from a NW to SE, and Im located in the middle. Any SE or NW breezes really mix air here.

Interesting drive down from Dublin this evening in the jeep.

+4c in the City centre ( circa 930pm ) +2.5c to 3.5c as far as the M11 join to the M50

+1.5c a lot of the way down from there and then 0.7c on the section between the beehive and the tap.

Currently the Davis here at home is reading +1.7c,though I see it read +0.9c at around 8pm with a lot of ice on the lane and frost on the other car here.8pm.

The WSW breeze has kicked off here again, driving temperatures back up to -0.2c from a low of -0.7c Dewpoints on the rise also, from a low of -1.7c to -0.7c.

Depsite it only being 2 or 3mph, it's ability to mix air from the milder west is very interesting.

Wind is ESE at 0mph. Pressure is 1012 and falling rapidly. Precip only 10 miles W according to ME radar.
