    Already light showers with sunny interludes
    Overnight min 5.7C with no grass frost, overnight max 8.3C
    6.9C atm, I wonder if the 8.3C will be exceeded?

    First hail shower, brought temp down from 9.5C to below 8C.

    7.0c here atm - maxed at 8.0c (so far) today. Practiaclly full cloud cover but no sign of any showers.

    DP 2.0c here too.

    Showers seem to be pepping up now off the coast - could with wind shifting to the east a bit! Wind from north here atm.

    Plenty sunshine, 4.5h in all.

    Max of 8.7c after an overnight low of 0.9c. No showers today. The sky was very clear this morning apart from a view of two anvils way off to the east. Some fairweather cloud build up during the day.

    Fair bit of rain here especially in the two hours with cloud to cloud lightning.
    I've heard no thunder.

    Note my rain guage has to be seriously under recording for some reason-I'll give it an overhaul tomorrow when I've time :)

    October draws to a close on a chilly note here , the third straight night with temps hovering around 1 to 2c and another heavy grass frost , a still , starry night , can hear the odd distant firecracker in Tralee 4miles away.
