    What a beautiful day!
    Just back from a walk up Djouce Mountain. Its the first time I've been up a mountain where its been warm and sunny on the summit - needed the factor 40 cream for sure.

    I saw that shower developing as it passed over me in Inchicore. now i don't normally look up at building cumlus as you can't mormally see the clouds growing without some timelapse. However, looking up at some of the cumlus congestus almost overhead, I could see the cauliflower tops literally boiling and exploding.....really amazing stuff to witness. Never saw clouds grow so quickly and aggresively. Except on those storm chase videos from the US!!! Check it out everyone.

    Big changes through the day - no rain but lots of threatening looking stuff, the wind picked up and there is no heat in the air at all.

    Decent enough day here, just a few spots of rain around 5:30pm, not enough to even slightly wet the ground.

    High of 18.5C, now 14.3C and rising again over the last 45 minutes.

    A steady breeze here with lowering sky. The radar image from 4.30pm looks interesting. Has to be the straightest edge of light rain I've seen moving in along the west coast:

    Were more breaks in the cloud here this morning; temp reached 19.9 and looked like it would get very warm. Hardly any breaks now with temp of 18.2.

    High 20's for the last few days, today in particular with some wind. Lots of rain lately today and plenty of flash flood warnings. Tomorrow is meant to be a high of 28C with scattered thunderstorms, chances are some of them will be severe. Should improve a little as the week goes on.
