Baby74 hope all goes well keep us up to date !!! oh exciting
i would have expected AF on the 24th aug but as cycle was very short last month I'm giving it a few extra day was sure id have them the weekend every morning expecting to wake up i stayed in my friends and was pure sure was going to wake up with them so brought all supplies haha Gonna give couple extra days no signs of symptoms so not hopeful tbh.

Lucyfur hope you're still in this month also. Did AF arrive? Else it sounds quiet positive

I'm on day 11. Have been taking my agnus castus so hoping for a normal length cycle this month. Cm started today so hoping that's a good indicator. Also doing the sperm meets egg plan. I didn't temp in the end but might next month if this month isn't successful

i just can't bring myself to test, i think because i used to be obsessed with testing and was dissapointed and plus cause no signs and really no tender boobs and thats suppose to be good sign

Applesock; I totally understand you not wanting to test - you still have hope & dreams right now & if you test you could loose that. If af was due the 24th of aug maybe you should just stop driving yourself mad & test in the morning? My fingers are crossed for you, good luck.

Good God woman I admire your restraint, when I tested I couldn't even wait to go home. Just took this mad notion out of the blue that I was pregnant, tested on my lunch break (had a cheapie in my handbag ) then rushed to the chemist on my break to pick up a first response digi test to be 100% sure!

I have everything crossed for you that yours is a positive also! please let us know soon, the anticipation is killing me!

Well girls did the test last night was it was negative.... cant beleive it:(. This is the first time ever I have been this late (AF was due last Thurs at 32 days so Im now 36 days and nothing). My heart was beating so fast. I was just too shocked to even cry.

My boobs are even more sore today.. dont know whats going on. the only discharge I have is white and there is only a small amount of it. Plus i dont have any bloating now...

I have read on another thread that some girls got BFN's on day 4,5 and6 and then got a BFP on day 8.

I was going to go to Doc... awh girls help dont know what to do:(

Ah Baby74 so sorry you sound so upset. A quick visit to the doc of nothing by next week might be an idea, though I suspect he'll say to wait a little longer.
If nothing again by Friday do another test in the morning, on first pee.

I'd LOVE to think I was still in with a chance but I'm defo out. Tested this morning (with a cheapie) and there wasn't a hint of a line. I'm 2 days late so if I was pregnant I'd be getting a positive by now. Can't wait to get day one behind me cos I feel like a wreck. On friday with 1st morning urine I tested pos very faintly with a cheapie, so repeated on the first response which was glaringly obvious.

Saturday morning the Clearblue digi was a deffo 2-3 weeks, but Saturday evening just to torture myself I did a cheapie and there was barely a line,(cue worrying) yet Sunday morning Clearblue digi and the cheapie both had a deffo line, so if you are cheapie testing, be aware that in the evening there may not be enough HGC in the system for the cheapie to pick up.

Baby74, Maybe you tested too late in the day? So sorry you got your Neg. Sympathies to all who are back to square 1, Pray you get your lucky cycle soon.

I'm doing good. Tiny twinges, and boobs get sore on and off - (when off I get worried) but I have to remember what will be will be and nothing will change that. No other symptoms - in fact my pre-ttc self would have been oblivious to a pregnancy since I was pretty sloppy keeping track when I was on the pill.

Getting early scan on 28th Sept (should be 7weeks 3 days) All we can do is wait really, and hope for the best.

Can NOT believe this! After all my smug sex last week my husband caught a tummy bug and we had no sex all weekend.:(:eek::(

I have no idea if/when I ovulated. I had small amounts of mucus on Friday afternoon and a few twinges in the right ovary area last night, which is where I'd be due from this month but nothing concrete. It's a bit weird to not know when it's happened as I've had ovulation spotting every month since May this year. (Possibly anaemia related I guess?) I can only hope that I either haven't ovulated yet and he feels better tonight or that I ovulated a little earlier than I thought. I wasn't doing any ovulation testing as I was pretty sure with the amount of sex we were having a rough idea would suffice but I guess we all know what they say about mice and men.

Going by dates I would have expected to ovulate at some point on Saturday and we last had sex on Thursday so I guess there is a tiny, tiny chance that a few of his guys were still hanging about and waiting if that was the ovulation. If it was last night then the chances are even smaller as afaik sperm lasting for more than a day or so is rare, the type of rare occurrence you have to account for when you don't want to have a baby rather than something to rely on when you do.

So I suspect I'm out. Hopefully I'll be back on here tomorrow with a tale of a surprise ovulation tonight followed by a successful trip to bed but if that doesn't happen I'd say my chances of conceiving this month are one in a million. I'm not looking forward to the rest of this cycle and would be happy enough for my period to come tomorrow so I could start over.:(

Its the closest we've gotten to thinking it could have happened... anyway I will just give it another few days and maybe do a morning test on Sat if AF doesnt come before that. I have cramps today which makes me think they are on the way!!

Your not out yet. We only did once before ovulation and once after, and look what happened! I think it was the month with the least amount of jiggy around O in 2 years.

Fully agree with this Plus, it's possible for sperm to live inside you for 5 days :cool:

I had a pint on sat nite and a cup of tea y/day...moderation`s great!
Just shows ye how impatient I am, I did HPT sunday morning and this morning, both negative...:o
On getting pregnant last (and only) time, I got BFP on 11 days after ovulation, still 7 days before AF was due.
I`m imagining symptoms already (metallic taste in my mouth) although I know one of ye said in earlier posts that ye thought ye were deffinitely pregnant for 3 cycles after m/c.
I`ll probably still test each morning ignoring the cramps I`m feeling...

About to enter the two week wait like some of ye. Supposedly ovulation night tonight, yippee!

I put my back really really out about 2 weeks ago and after 10 days of it not improving at all (couldn't stand straight at all & was in agony) I found a great chiropractor near me. She took a feel of my pelvis & said it was unlikely I'd conceive with it so out! All the nerves that go to my nethers were pinched & irritated. Anyway she sorted me right out so hopefully that will help things along this month.

As an aside she said there is an acupunturist beside her that specialises in fertility and said she gets great results. When my chiro was preggers she got really bad thrush and couldn't take antibiotics strong enough to get rid of it but the acupucture got rid of it for her. If anyone wants details PM me.

Thanks guys but I still think I'm probably out. The sex was just much too early in the month, so unless he had a maca infused super-soldier waiting in my tubes (like a spermy Captain America) I doubt I got lucky. My mucus was pretty pathetic, despite drinking an entire bottle of cough medicine and taking evening primrose and fish oils every day, so it would definitely not have kept an egg alive for long. Last month when we weren't trying I had brilliant stretchy mucus along with the spotting.

I'm still getting ovarian twinges on and off, so my best chance is if I haven't ovulated yet and he feels up to it in time. But it's probably just wishful thinking.

Well girls.. af arrived yesterday evening just before I left work... devastated. Im so down at the mo, just cant believe it arrived after 6 days late.

Chin up we've all been there and next month is a whole new opportunity and as you read here so often, it will happen for us.

Go home and get a takeaway or something nice...we deserve a medal nevermind a takeaway for putting up with the tricks our hormones play on us!

Baby74 have a good cry, I find it releases the pent up fury, then a takeout and wine, and tomorrow wake up telling yourself that your body is now clearing the way for you to try for your baby this month, making a whole new lovely clean bed as it were.

count me out too. period today. I feel bleugh (super crampy) but moodwise I'm grand, I think it's because I'm looking forward to my new treatment on Thursday. I went to the IVF seminar in the hospital last night. Wow - over 100 couples there..

Another question for the maca heads. Do you just take it up to ovulation? Is it safe to carry on taking it after a positive result? I asked in the health shop today but she was unsure...I'd like to keep taking it as she said it's brilliant for both mental and physical energy levels:)
