    Hit -2.4c last night.

Thats 8 air frosts recorded in Dec here.

My weather station records daily extremes from midnight to midnight. So last nights frost would have counted as 2 days as it went over the midnight boundary. Met eireanns system I think is more accurate, where they measure from 9 to 9 (I think).

Min here was -2.4c too with a max of almost 9c

7.9c and see a clearer slot on the western horizon.

Temp falling slowly here, currently 6.0°C.
Check out the current satellite picture, there's a razor sharp line between the cloud and the clear down the middle of the country - http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/satpics/latest_uk_vis.html Should be some fog and slippery roads tonight when the clearance comes.

Yes, I can see that from the front of my house to the west! As usual, the good weather arrives just as its getting dark! At least we'll have a frost I suppose! That will 'fool' my weather station into recording another 2 days with an air frost if it goes sub zero before midnight!

Can just see the clear sky. Snowbie mentioned it at 1230, I saw it at 1415, then it disappeared.

Temp is falling all the same. Flat calm.

Seems to be wiggling,. has moved back west a little bit since my post earlier and is now cloudy overhead again, but its pretty thin.

We could see it to the north and west all day about 30 miles in the distance.
There was enough of it to create a slight red ribbon in the cloud.
It never made any further progress.

Gloomy as hell, damp in the air, fog decending.

I'm expecting Marleys Ghost any second now.

    Mike.

4.4c here and falling away now.Clearish with just partly cloudy skies now and again but a mist is forming now just as it did last christmas eve.

Clear and damn cold for the last 2 hours or so. Heavy fog in town allegedly.

No fog here, curently 1.6°C with a veil of high cloud coverage.

10 kilometers east of me Mothmans's showing as 100% humidity so presumably its foggy there.

Should be frosty by morning, but unless the high cloud clears wont be a particularily hard frost.
