    Matilda in the digging box, filled it with shredded paper towels and chucked in a few seeds and some frozen peas...she spent about 2 hours in there searching for every last crumb, meanwhile her sister took loads of the paper and lined her bed with it!

    Thank you artyeva. He was a great dog. Really enjoyed his company. Its been 3 months now and I am ready to get back on the ladder.

    Disappointed that I didn't know about this section of boards earlier. I'll have to stay tuned to this second time round.

    I know I post a fair few pics of my hamster, but this one takes the biscuit- She was free ranging on my bed this evening (I made a maze out of my pillows and duvet!), and I looked away to grab my phone for like, a second, and when I turned around I was greeted by this-

    RIP Blackie, i had tears in my eyes reading about her earlier too.Clearly well loved and well looked after. No dog could've asked for anymore.

    Any regular will know that i always bring up the fact that there's another unstickied thread called Departed Pets which you probably wouldnt find as its quite far down the thread list, but is there for important times like these when all you want to post about is your best buddy and how much they meant to you and how much you'll miss them.

    It's a strangely comforting (while sobbing your eyes out) read...:o

    @Zuroph What breed is Dexter? He is very familiar to Millie. We were told that she is a Boxer/Lab. I thought her face looks more like a mastiff or dane.

    That gorgeous dog looks like all her birthdays have come at once. I swear she could nearly cry with happiness, the pride of having a family to love and to love her is just bursting out of her.
