My new Jack Russell - Tiny.

He's 12 years old. He was owned by a couple, the wife died 18 months ago, the husband died earlier this week. Their (adult) children didn't want him. He was kept chained to a fence his whole life, and only had 15ft of fence to walk alongside.

He was rescued on Thursday and I took ownership on Friday and he's a fantastic, friendly little guy. How anyone could leave him chained up for 12 years is beyond me. He made his first trip to the beach today. He has 12 years of smells and walks and fun to catch up on.

We made Isabella a new cage from an Ikea table, so she now has double the room, and her energy and curiosity has increased accordingly!

rainbowtrout, I'm so sorry for Tiny's past life but I am delighted that he gets to be with you now and get to be dog and live his life now. He looks so gorgeous sitting there in the car.

Rainbow trout my biggest wish is that Tiny gets to live a nice long life with you, tis the very least he deserves. Fair play to you! Your comment about 12 years of smells really brought a lump to my throat.

That place is AMAZING! Mine isn't as good, not by a long shot, but it's still better than what she was in. I'll do up a thread tomorrow, I took loads of photos as the different stages. :)

here's a crappy phone pic of a lovely wee chap we're fostering for a few days this week. flat out after a little walk up the lane and chatting to the neighbour's sheep and donkeys. the sheep didn't mind coming over for a sniff but the donkeys were having none of him! and look at that smile :):D

pity sheldon doesn't like him. good job i live in a house that easily be sectioned off into 'cat' and 'everything else that is not cat' :o

Tráwee (or Trábhui whichever way u say it), about 10 minutes away from dunmoran strand, lovely and quiet because it's not very well known, beautiful beach though. The last pic was enniscrone.

We sent Mollie off for grooming yesterday, she was glad of the loss of the coat with the heat.
