A while ago I would carry threats in my coat pocket to train our dog to sit before crossing the road.
Well she though why wait for walkies time for the threats.:)

Dodd, one of mine does the same thing to my jacket for fear any bit of biscuit might be left behind. The worst thing was when I was sitting in Shannon last year at the gate waiting to fly to Boston. The sniffer dog was lead around and wouldn't you know, he went straight for my jacket pocket where there was some remnants of dog biscuit crumbs. I nearly lost my life! But he must have given his handler a different signal than the one for CONTRABAND ALERT because she merely shook her head, gave him a treat and moved him on. I was the only person he did that to as well, wouldn't you know!

Lesson learnt. Shake the bejaysus out of my jackets next time I'm flying to the states!

Zapperzy - Did you have gerbils called Bert & Ernie too?! My first 2 were named that. Then we had a little mishap when I decided to get another and the silly person in the pet shop gave me a female when I asked for a male. Cue panic when we realised that Oscar (later renamed Lulu) was giving birth! :o;)

BengaLover - Your dog is absolutely stunning! :D

pixiebean - Your dog looks like a legend, I love Great Danes! :D

Nope my Bert and Ernie were dwarf hamsters. I had a gerbil called Barney though years ago. Thankfully all were male!

Newest addition to the family, Rufus. He is a German Shepherd x Golden Retriever. He does not want to share his food with Daisy!!! He has a wicked appetite but is becoming more disciplined as time goes on.

ha, it was showing him maru videos that finally persuaded mr artyeva to get a cat. :) sheldon loves boxes though, specially ones he shouldn't be in! i've seen some cool cardboard tower things that you can build for cats on pinterest, might give it a go.
