there was still 700ish left when i was eliminated near the end of the 300/600 level, was at around 6pm i think.

was dealt ak in the first level and got no action, six hours later im dealt TT and get my 7.5k aipf v a7 and he spikes an ace.

couldn't get many blind steals through on a stationy table with alot of big stacks where i was unbelievably card dead. frustrating stuff.

depressing drive home to say the least.



great event though well done to all involved.


also im off to drink myself into a coma. see you in 3-4 months

20BB average @ 6pm. That doesn't sound good.

Eliminated about 700th at 7.00pm. Blinds 400/800.

My 10k went to 8k in 10 mins then at first break was up to 15k. At end of 2nd break the 25 cips were raced (200/400) and I have 16k. Avg at this stage maybe 12k, then it all goes horribly wrong.
Turned 16k into 10k in 3 hands when PFRs were snapped off. Then turned that 10k into 5k v shortie AIPF, my AQ no match for his A9 which flushed on the river.
Got the 5k up to 9k after some effort (was card diddly dead) and then back down to 7k when this happens......

Found the monster that is 9/2 in my BB. folded to button who calls (new guy no reads) and SB completes (hes been at my table all day so I know he'll fold to a raise). I like my BB so make it another 2.6k for a flop (300/600 level) and the button calls :eek:

flop comes down 568 with 2 clubs so I dwell and push the lot. Button agonises for an age and then calls for 2/3rd of his stack. He shows pocket 7s. It is only now I flip my cards and see my 9/2 are clubs so my flop play doesnt look so terrible. The turn gives him trip 7s but it also gives me a straight. The river then brings a 9 so we chop it but my credibility is shot as my 9/2 PFR sinks in.

I still steal 1 or 2 then get my stack in with KJ sooooooted which is called by AQ, and thats all she wrote.

7 hours in the same seat and all I get is piles

I met Ollieboy at the first break who was struggling with 3k or 4k, dont know how he got on after. Syl Geoghan was gone in the first level (but I guess he was treating this as a $5 MTT).
