Honestly 250 would be sensible, 300 pushing it if you're extremely lucky. Very much doubt you'd get it for 300 though

@themastero, what else is in that PC, what model number, power supply etc.

Processor: Intel Celeron Duo E1400 @ 2.00 GHz.
Ram: 4GB DDR2 Frequency (333.33 Mhz) (if that means anything important)
    Motherboard: Packard Bell MCP73VT-PM
    Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 7050/nForce 610i
OS:Windows Vista 32-bit (it came with the computer so I'm unsure if it's reuseable.
    HDD: 160 GB Hitachi Something.

How much could I expect to get?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,354 ✭✭✭Sobanek

    @Dale

667MHz DD2 RAM, Integrated Graphics, Small HDD, Slow processor... I'd say around 250 if you're lucky.

    @Ideo

That computer is really outdated and you would get around 200 max for it. I personally wouldn't pay that much.
For 350 you can get used parts and build a Quad Core DDR3 AMD PC.

Sell the HDD's seperately, and the rest of the rig goes for 250 max.

    Just looking for rough figures..

6months old.. all parts still under warrenty..

    Coolermaster cm 690 II case
    Coolermaster something 750 watt PSU
    Asus P6X58D-E mobo
i7 950 (coolermaster cooler, can't remember which name but it was very good option for air coolong)
    6 gig ddr3 (OCZ gold I think)
    WD black 640gig (sataII)
    WD Black 1TB (sata III)
Gigabyte GTX 560TI OC (Factory oc, not the soc) (3 months old, 3 year warrenty)
Logitec 5.1 sound (not a big one)
Dell U2311H IPS panel (3 months old, 3 yr warrenty)

    Windows 7 Ultimate clean install

Plays WoW, BFBC2, L4D2, MW2 all on 1080 ultimate settings.. only in intense situations does it show any frame rate loss below 60(monitor only shows 60 so don't care about above)

Could sell the mouse etc too but rather keep them as I will be building a new machine,
    Roccat Kone+
    Cherry keyboard
    Corsair HS1 USB headset

As to why I'm selling... well same reason as anyone with this kind of machine would... moving abroad and need the funds

P.S, I built this to OC it... but found that the performance was so good that I didn't find the need to.
Less stress on the components and longer life beat maxing the FPS when it barely ever drops below 60 anyway.
Also tri-sli is possible (though not with the 560TI) and 95% performance increase isn't unreasonable with a 2nd of these cards which are dropping in price every week

What do we think this is worth...

Samsung R540 finished in silver - 6 months old. Genuinely not a mark on it.
    2.4 GHz i3
    4GB Ram
    15" HD Screen
    1TB WD HDD
    HDMI port
    HD Audio
    Web Cam
    DVD drive, wifi etc

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit (with discs and activation)
    Office Professional Plus 2010
    2 year kaspersky security
Adobe Design Premium which inc Photoshop, Dreamweaver, flash, indesign, fireworks, illustrator, bridge, device central and more (with discs and activation from adobe)
A great data recovery application that I cant remember the name of, rescued a few hdd's for me and friends though.

ALL software is genuine and not dodgy hacked versions, with receipts to prove to damage they inflicted to my pocket!
