Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well I've talked myself into looking forward to it. Farragher/Burke inside could be good. Could see Damo and Molloy. Could be like Donegal a few years ago.

If the rain would clear off now that would be great!

I've gotten slightly more confident as the week has gone on. I'm expecting a big reaction from our players tonight. Maybe I'm naive but I'm looking forward to the match regardless.

I'm sorry I'm sure it's been asked before but where is the best site if any to live stream from. I'm in the Republic but not a sky subscriber thanks

For the sake of a tenner you really can't go wrong with now TV tbh. 24 hour access to sky sports

That said I'll be watching the first game too and am probably a lot more hungover than yourself uggh

Looks like for all there poor mouthing all week Mayo will only really be missing Diarmuid o Connor . Keegan names in subs which in today’s world could mean he may start . Anyway if we gonna go down let’s go down fighting . Looking forward to seeing Burke and farragher see if they can replicate there corofin form and if they do we have good chance . Also looking forward to see Mcdaid from start and ya never know maybe even Molloy . Hopefully the rain holds off a bit . Will be back to give a positive review tonight hopefully

I think we have a good chance today despite all our issues. Mayo are nowhere near the team of 3 or 4yrs ago. If we actually put out our best 15 I think I would be very confident but I think the team as named has alot of flaws.

Farragher at full forward is a big plus. I'd rather see him in there than comer due to game time and form. He's probably worth his place even if others were fit. Himself and Burke have a great understanding.

Too strong. At least 3 of them should be starting.

    Changes

    Who?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,869 ✭✭✭Happyilylost

I've been told no Sean Andy and no Tom Flynn. Kyne and Sean Kelly to come in. No idea is this accurate.

Kyne to full back wouldn't be too bad considering where Sean Andy is at but will Kelly go in to wing forward and Cooke to midfield and if so would it mean Daly is actually staying midfield??

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,869 ✭✭✭Happyilylost

Power is doing the goalie warm up from the looks of it. Tom Flynn and Sean Andy warning up fine so I don't know.

Brannigan, power and Kelly in. Brannigan named full back. What kind of sh1te is that. Name a proper team Walsh you flute.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,388 ✭✭✭macslash

Jesus Sky haven't a clue with the team layout. Brannigan at full back and Kyne to corner forward according to them!

Nervous for this one, hope to God we do it!

    Terrible goal

    Probably game over already.

Two kick outs lost and 1-1 conceded.

The one thing KW should be able to implement.

Is kerin capable of a clean challenge. Headless

On the major plus side, Walsh will hardly survive after today and the Connacht final.

As this is going we're not overturning 6 points.
Zero goal threat and we just constantly foul among the rest.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,223 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

Do Galway Know how to mark up from the opposition kickout at all?

It's cynical, I know, but the mayo lad should have been hauled down long before he shot for the second goal.

Can't see them turning it around in the second half the way they are playing.

Brannigan ran right past him. Dreadful stuff.

Only for Peter Cooke, we'd be beaten out the gate already.

A lot of the Galway players look unfit - mayo seem to be a lot livelier even though they have a lot more older players

  • Registered Users Posts: 229 ✭✭Mr.Maroon

I'm surprised we're only 6 down after that first half - surely we'll be better in the second half??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,268 ✭✭✭threeball

Our full back line has been cat. Silke turned inside out. Kerin is a total liability. He can't tackle for sh1t. Constant fouling and borderline black cards.

At least we're leaving lads up front but there's no coherence in the back six. No one is picking up anyone and shirking responsibility when their man runs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,268 ✭✭✭threeball

    Greedy by Comer

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,612 ✭✭✭eigrod

Galway players now feeling like they have to hit every ball in to Comer and it’s not working. They’re not even doing the few good things they had been doing 1st half now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,869 ✭✭✭Happyilylost

How Liam Silke is still on the field is beyond me. Our best defender or not he's been very poor today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,383 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Liam Silke was having a poor game. Can’t understand giving him the penalty. No confidence in the strike at all.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,388 ✭✭✭macslash

    Poor penalty aswell

    Woeful penalty.
Its smaller than a soccer goal and you're hitting it in a way that's unacceptable even in one of those goals.
