Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That's what happens if your don't drive through a takedown. Lovely loads of filler now.

    Come on Diego!!

    That's some size difference

    Round 1 Diego imo

How many times can you grab the cage or put your toes in before you get a point deducted?! I think refs should be far quicker to take points away if you want fighters to take it seriously.

This fight should have been finished about 5 times at this stage.

Might have had something to do with his unique style of defending strikes almost exclusively with his face

Deserves his spot in the hall of fame when he eventually retires. Definition of a proper legend.

Hopefully take some of the arrogance off Gall going forward. Shown up there big time. Completely gassed, no answers for Diego

No at the end of the day Robbie could stop him but if Ben gets the takedown he won't be getting back up imo

One also has to wonder how close lawlor still is to the animal he was a few years back and if hes 100% after acl.
A good first fight to test askren in interested to see how he handles it all.

    Thats Stamanns fight for me.

Tyron took Robbie's soul, and it was his second coming as well. He looks in great shape but I think Ben mauls him, Ben can be a star he's making people like Woodley! It's a nice scalp if he wins, I'd rather that than him righting a can.

    Loving this card so far

Here we go, let's see what walker is made of. Hopefully another ko. I remember Cirkhunov smashed Krylov when he was on a tear. ( He had a class win at UFC Dublin) so it's a big step up here. Walker seems an absolute character and star in the making.

Gall was so crushed by Diego.

Levels to this game was never more appropriate.

Brilliant quote, love Johnny Walker! :D

nope feel the same. crazy how askren is strong favourite. just compare their previous opponents. different levels entirely.

Kinda like the little tweaks that ESPN are bringing, like that little spot with Brett Okamoto.

I haven't seen anything so far.

    Good card?

Lads I know there's a gambling thread so apologies for posting but I stuck this on for the crack and I'd appreciate if you could all ask your nannies to light a candle :pac:

I remember the last time we all got behind me and i had big Ben v Santos for some strange reason, I'll redeem myself now and reward the support.

Ya i agree mate no matter what way you look at askrens record this is a step up against a bad ass seasoned fighter that can strike. Theres no denying askrens grappling abilities though, i just hope it stays standing for a while to see how askrens striking is.

    Some gas tank on Zabit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,481 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Well Zabit certainly looked human in that third round. Still think he’s a future champ though, in the next two years as well.

    Easy for Zabit anyway.

when was the last time you seen anyone from outside the top 10 so easily dominate anyone from the top 5?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,047 ✭✭✭Jamiekelly

Doubt Zabit will be a champion anytime soon. Ortega would outclass him handily on the feet and if Holloway stays at FW after his fights at LW then I can't see Zabit giving either of them any trouble. Class fighter though. really entertaining.

The only place Ortega has a hope of beating Zabit is on the ground, and that's a toss up.

Zabit would light Ortega up on the feet, and I say that as a massive Ortega fan.

zabit is the real deal. future champ.

Brett Okamoto slowly becoming the face of MMA.

He has Danas ear these days. Always first for the breaking news

Brett Okamoto slowly becoming the face of MMA.

Good for him. He’s excellent at what he does and nobody seemingly has a bad word to say about the guy.

To be fair though, I’m full of praise for any MMA journalist not named Gareth A Davies.

I think No Love takes this but I don't think it would be a huge upset if he lost.

No surprise to hear Dom Cruz talk up Cody seeing as he got tooled up by him.

    What was Cody thinking ffs
