Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I've gone for:

    Simpson 100-1
    Goosen 175-1
    Lahiri 250-1
    Rahm 250-1

All each way @ 1/5 odds top 7.

If he could find some form, he definitely has the game.

Didnt even get to watch it but glad DJ came in, had him at 14/1 to win @ €2

Second bet ever and second win, I just applied for a loan for the next majors :pac:

  • Registered Users Posts: 83 ✭✭Eric the Eagle

I had DJ each way at 16/1 and got paid off Sergio each way at 35/1.

I also had Westwood each way at 80/1 but his capitulation cost me a very decent pay out...

Had EW on DJ, Furyk and Grace and pulled in 250.

Last major I had EW on Willet, Casey and Westwood and pulled in over 300.

On a good roll with majors.

Seems strange Lowry is at 40/1 for the WGC... defending champion and on current form?

Only 60 players too. Any price for him for top 5 ?

Ladbrokes have him 8/1 for top 5 finish.

Think I will be giving Furyk, Lowry and either Dufner or Reed a punt.

You can get 44 on betfair on lowry now

    For Open I'm thinking

    Grace 20/1
    Furyk 70/1
    Paddy 80/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,675 ✭✭✭ronnie3585

Got Grace too at 25/1 last week. Got Danny Lee at 150/1 and DJ at 12/1.

    Russell Knox 10 e/w
    Padraig 5
    Paul Dunne 5

    I'm thinking:

    Rahm @ 250
    Manassero @ 200

I'm betting the farm on Sergio. In great form, had a solid showing at the US and loves links.

    His time has come!

    5 e/w

  • Registered Users Posts: 780 ✭✭✭Kirk Van Houten

McDowell at 11/4 is a big price for a top 20 finish. Westwood at 40s and Kaymer at 50s look decent value.

Afraid not Rik, it's Westwood's time. Good value at 40's on a course he likes.

Montgomerie all the way! :D But seriously... I'm half thinking of throwing something on him as 1st round leader at 150-1.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,050 ✭✭✭bobwilliams

Paul Case and Brandon Grace for me

  • Registered Users Posts: 110 ✭✭Shamrock841

It's Garcia's time! Maybe DJ's major win made Garcia see the light 25/1 EW (safe bet with his open record)

  • Users Awaiting Email Confirmation Posts: 950 ✭✭✭mickmackmcgoo

It will be about keeping it out of the fairway bunkers so on that basis and current form I gotta go for Dustin Johnson at 9/1 and Branden Grace at 33/1 on betfair

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,012 ✭✭✭✭Alfred Borden

Branden Grace and Rickie Fowler for me.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,361 ✭✭✭Boskowski

Did Russel Knox at 150 and Mannassero at 280. Both seem good value to me at those prices.

DJ for the win @19/2 keep following while they are playing well.

Also did Rickie without the big 4 on PP @ 20/1.

The only important factor (for e/w) is getting the best price&place for your selection, ideally 7places at 1/4. Only x3 books offer this combination currently. If you're picking a rank outsider you can get 8places, but at just 1/5, just depends on what odds are offered for the specific selection(s).

Adam Scott @21 seems to be getting lots of interest. But was priced better @26, just a couple of days ago.

Had 40 notes on Henrik on the nose at 12s.small e/w on Rory yesterday morning sensing a late surge at 20s. My only 2 bets since Augusta so well chuffed.

Nobody I backed came close. Threw a tenner on Phil to have a bogey free round today at 25s.

All is right with the world again ;)

He was even nice enough to give you a sweat on the 17th and then to hole it

Got Sergio e/w - Wont make back my total bets, but I'll make back something :)

My wife had 2.50 e/w on Bill Haas at 200/1 from the start of the week. Of course, he finished 9th ;)

And at 12, when he left a 12-15 footer after a difficult 3rd shot out of the long grass. Simply sensational stuff by the big man.
