Pretty sure they sold out (for 2019), so you'll probably need to wait for them to announce the sale of returned tickets.

Does anyone have a similarly detailed site map from previous years?

There seems to be a few slight changes in layout. It looks like the route from Hendrix to the Main stage has been widened and cleared after the trouble with crushing last time.

The Main Stage barriers seem to have been upgraded a bit too. Not sure if that could take away from the quieter sets earlier on in the day.

Also, it looks like Pink Moon has been moved around a bit to move the Comedy Stage over.

    Anyone notice anything else?

Looks like they've moved the funfair out of Hendrix to the back of the main stage arena. No toilets or bar up there either. That should help with the bottlenecks. Also if those grey things are the seating areas then there are now another two of them at either side of the main stage.

Electric Arena is moved to where Midfield and the Comedy tent were.
Comedy tent is now beside Rankins Wood Stage, and there is a bigger area/entrace from Pink Moon in between.
Looks like the Main stage area is wider and the food line to the left of it is longer.
Fun fair has moved closer to the main stage (Hopefully no inane funfair bleating sounds will bleed to the Main stage area).
Mindfield is now beside the Mind & Body area near Trenchtown and the arena entrance from Hendrix.
There's now a carousel close to Bacardi Bar.

Ah Christ, they can't move the funfair near Pink moon, there'll be a lot of unhappy middle aged and tired campers if they do.

It's only a little bit closer, still the far side of the main arena, easier line of sight for snipers.

FYI - *if* this still goes ahead, I maintain my demand that those misery guts who wandered in here, telling us it was insane to think this could happen, like a kid revelling in the joy of telling others that Santa didn't exist, should hand their tickets over to those who struggled on, believing, as they have truly earned their attendance.

Feels a bit strange talking about lineups….but why not! Liam Gallagher & Idles rescheduled to play Belfast on the Friday so surely they’d nip down for the Saturday or Sunday?

Hmmm, just close enough to Guerrilla teenage kicking raid from the arena entrance to Pink moon.

My son and gang had tickets for Belfast on 30th June, (I did tell him if he wants to see Oasis see Noel but anyway……), pissed off that it’s now moved to EP weekend but expecting to see him at EP at least. He was hoping to see him twice, such an oasis fan I think he will faint with excitement when he comes on stage. Must remember to ring him and offer him free cold beer in minefield just as Liam walks on!

Seems to be underestimating the pace of things a small bit. Surely it'll be a lot sooner than the start of August when 30 to 39 get their first jab? If the portal opens for that age group tomorrow that's nearly a six week wait? My brother in law is in his mid 40s, got his text and time an hour after registration, jab was about a week later.

Does it really matter now at this stage? We have pretty much have everyone above 50 fully vaccinated, huge portion of risk removed and the ICU stats are really showing this improvement.
We are now talking about something similar to cold or flu.

This is going to continue on for years, new variants, new vaccines. This is the new norm

What about requiring proof of a negative PCR test, as would be required for a flight.

Present at the gate and walk on through.

Proof of full vaccinations also acceptable.

If not, antigen test and wait.

I don't understand the PCR test focus, have had two of them, you get a pdf to print, it would be an utter doddle to fake them on a large scale.

Unless there's validation of the test result with the supplier or attendees have to use a specified supplier who pass the names and results back then it's an bad joke of a validation process.

Or 'one time' QR code (scanned at the same point as ticket) that links back to a database of tests. But it gets complicated and huge risk in using a new system large scale!

Fully vaccinated as of 18/06/2021, no side effects thus far from Astrazeneca II: The Re-jaggening.
Now, I believe someone will have a warm pint of awful Heineken for me and some teenagers to boot up the hole?

Second vaccine eight days ago. All done, as are several younger gig-going pals lucky enough to get the J&J shot. Everyone over forty done by end of July unless there's a screw-up. That's a significant portion of the population and end of August is very close to (or beyond) the 80% herd immunity we crave.

People in their 20s will be fully vaccinated by the end of September - HSE https://jrnl.ie/5472784

*if* this is true, it bodes quite well for the E.P.

no........according to reuters we're currently at 33%, a week ago RTE said 4/10 have had one dose and 2/10 have had two, so we're a good bit away from that unfortunately.

According to your stats there, assuming the sources are correct, that's a 13% increase in fully vaccinated people in a week. If we were to take a linear approach, we're on for over 100% fully vaccinated by end of August :D

well theyre two different sources, so thats no what i was suggesting, just pointing out that we're most likely somewhere between 30-40% vaccinated. also it most likely wont be a linear increase due to population structure

    I assume that's total population?

For adults, it's more than 61%, 31% now.

More than 58,000 Covid-19 vaccines were administered in Ireland yesterday — the highest amount given out on any one day of the rollout so far.

In a tweet, HSE chief executive Paul Reid said the figure was "good news for Friday".

Mr Reid also said the HSE was now on course to deliver up to 330,000 vaccines this week — more than have been administered during any other week of the vaccine rollout.

According to the latest statistics, roughly 61% of the adult population has now received a first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, and 31% is fully vaccinated.

your assumption is correct as total population is what matters for herd immunity

I see truck festival and kendal calling have had to cancel again this year due to the change of dates to reopen the country

no........according to reuters we're currently at 33%, a week ago RTE said 4/10 have had one dose and 2/10 have had two, so we're a good bit away from that unfortunately.

Reuters doesn't discriminate between first and second doses or the one-shot J&J vaccine but instead divides the total vaccines by two. Their current figure of 3.2m is off by at least 300k.

The RTE figures are off so I assume you've misheard. As of last Friday more than 60% of the population had received the first dose and 31% were fully vaccinated.

At the current rate of 320k/340k (and rising) jabs a week we are getting very close to herd immunity. Be aware also that since yesterday pharmacies are participating in the process, particularly with the J&J shots. Things are going pretty well, we remain cautious, but the country is in a very good position.

The delay from easing of restrictions was bound to affect some events alright. Probably a mistake by the UK government to have a date in June nailed on too early.

The issue we are about to run into is that the number is going to go back down as we rely on Pfzifer and Moderna only for the remaining people. They reckon we'll go back to around 200 to 250k mark per week.

EP should happen anyway though. Test for unvaccinated, warm cans for everyone else.

J&J being used for any unvaccinated over-50s. Could later be used for forty-somethings and others if licencing changes.

Astra Zeneca second doses also being used earlier than planned.

Add those to the 200k/250k Moderna and Pfizer. And those figures may be underestimated if the supply lines are good. The capacity is certainly there at the vaccination centres to do much more than is being done at present.

Denise Chaila is pretty decent, supposedly great live. I've also got a soft spot for Sharon Shannon since her Waterboys days and she's been excellent anytime I've seen her live. Otherwise I'm in full agreement.

Marginally stronger line-up than Van Morrison b2b with Ian Paisley Junior.
    Didn't even play the hits.
