Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I reckon it was thrown at his head by the missus last night and she missed. It just hasn't been retrieved yet
There's been days like that, alright:D

Herself uses it to feed the stock from cooking to the dogs.

All we need here now is a lad to sail up in a big boat looking to buy a cow to keep with the bull he has on board already.

It's after arriving here anyway but it's taking on water at quite a rate in my big meadow. Listing badly to star board side too, so it seems it's even too wet for arc's now!!

Sickening here, floods and muck and sh*t everywhere. Lucky no cows calving for another week because it would be impossible to manage them outside in this weather. The sooner theres a slatted shed put up the better, last fortnight has been no good for man or beast here.

Just looking at the met site and I see we've had 50% of the month's rainfall in 4 days. I thought it would be worse actually.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

We had 58ml rain here in the first four days of march last year compared with 36ml this year....so could be worse.
I remember the sleet last year at the start of lambing

You should never go by averages, if everyone was average we'd all be walking around on less than two legs

Wonder how far along gene companies are on the idea of cows with webbed feet and maybe gills? Nice bright morning but sky turning lovely shade of black now so any minute ......

    Horsing rain this morning. PITH
(Ironically, water shortage issues here, the well gave up yesterday evening mid milking. No water until parts can be got at 9 this morning. Up most of the night trying to organise water for milkers, for auto calf feeder, and water to waSh milking machine. Balls)
On a brighter note, once today is done, forecast is looking a little bit better from tomorrow on. Here's hoping.

    Yea with even heavier rain.
The country will be covered in 10ft of water.:p

Ah no. It looks like a fine spell for a few days (no point in looking any farther than that).

Saturday is barbeque time for the majority.
