I reckon it was thrown at his head by the missus last night and she missed. It just hasn't been retrieved yet
There's been days like that, alright:D

Herself uses it to feed the stock from cooking to the dogs.

All we need here now is a lad to sail up in a big boat looking to buy a cow to keep with the bull he has on board already.

It's after arriving here anyway but it's taking on water at quite a rate in my big meadow. Listing badly to star board side too, so it seems it's even too wet for arc's now!!

Sickening here, floods and muck and sh*t everywhere. Lucky no cows calving for another week because it would be impossible to manage them outside in this weather. The sooner theres a slatted shed put up the better, last fortnight has been no good for man or beast here.

Raining on and off for the past week nearly. Ground saturated at this stage... Not the early early spring we thought were going to get.

Damp in the morning but turned out to be a lovely day except for every time you put down your foot you heard a squelch

Just looking at the met site and I see we've had 50% of the month's rainfall in 4 days. I thought it would be worse actually.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

We had 58ml rain here in the first four days of march last year compared with 36ml this year....so could be worse.
I remember the sleet last year at the start of lambing

You should never go by averages, if everyone was average we'd all be walking around on less than two legs
