Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have seen the stroller in a few ads but didn’t see any extra details. It’s 54.99 if that helps.
I think it was some Facebook bargain groups I saw it on but can’t remember exactly where.
If it’s any help usually the booklets in store have details of future offers way before they appear on the app or online.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,657 ✭✭✭Milly33

I got the booklets today but there was nought on it, just saw a post there on facebook on some like and tis a Mybabie buggy... Really annoying as I dont like the brand just from policy of their as helpful as well something that isnt very helpfull

I see Adli have a baby event on the 25th of April... There is nothing online yet, do they do strollers does anyone know (there is a pick of it just wondering is it just for the event or are they going to have one)

All stores don't always stock the same selection. You can ask the staff, sometimes they might know if they've had it before, in which case likely to sell again.

Great stuff thank you lovely people

Had a quick look and only saw this...
    https://www.aldi.ie/specialbuys/browse-by-date#Mobile%20Coming%20Soon

They are only displaying special buys up to 22 April at the mo, I'd say give it another 2 days and they'll show the special buys for the 24th.

Free Phillips advent microwave steriliser from Amazon when you create a baby Wish list and buy £20 worth of stuff off it. Items must be sold and fulfilled by amazon and not third party sellers. Bonus is that generally means free delivery to Ireland. A different gift is due to be offered from the 14th of August so I’ll get my husband to use his account for that one if it’s something we’d use.

Amazon/online shopping not for everyone, but we recently got these on Amazon, 6 x the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Big Bottles (260 ml).

They're actually even slightly cheaper now than when we got them a couple of weeks ago, 6 for £12!! (about €13.50)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,657 ✭✭✭Milly33

thank you that is very good. I always well me and amazon did not get on, but a few recent orders have all gone great. Might pick up a pack of these. thanks again

Hi all! We are away this weekend and missing the RDS baby fair unfortunately. Does anyone know of any good discounts at the fair? Possibly then the stores will be able to give the discount over the phone.

    [mod - removed spam link]

I EBF for 6 months and combined fed up to 12 months. Breastfeeding is not cheap, breast pads, lanolin cream (very expensive),lactation consultant, nursing bras and clothes and a breast pump if you're pumping. Yes, absolutely best for mam and baby but it does come with it's own costs

Yes i tend to agree. I breastfed both kids and most likely will the third but it is not cheap at all. The initial outlay is quite high ... tongue tie clinic, lactation consultant, osteo appointments, bf bras and clothes, many remedies for sore boobs in the early days, breast pads, pumps, bm collection bags, The list goes on and on.

Considering the username, the website they are promoting and their post count I would assume this is just spam.

Yes I did get that, just wanted to set the record straight on it for anyone not informed on the costs of breastfeeding

I posted it here because it is my opinion about breastfeeding :)
I am a supporter of breastfeeding for various reasons, including health for the child and mother

Then you should share in the Breastfeeding thread. Otherwise it just looks like spam.

Never had an issue using vouchers when buying them before, I'd say you're good to go

Yipee!!:D Thanks a million. I've loads of vouchers so trying to stock up on things we'll definitely need. I know they have an 'expiry date' so will have to double check that.

Do you mean the €10 off when you spend €50? I’ve used them in the past

Hi hope this post doesn't break the forum rules but just wanted to share a word of caution about ordering from The Baby Room UK. We ordered a bedside crib but hadn't received it after 9 weeks (10 day delivery had been promised). I got generic vague copy and paste replies any time I emailed. After 9 weeks waiting I asked for a refund which they advised would take place in 3-9 working days but they never refunded me. I'm now going via my bank to try to reclaim the money as we never received the goods. Hopefully will be able to get it back but it's a stress I didn't really need at 32 weeks pregnant. Unfortunately I've now found out from online review sites that many others have had similar experiences and are pursuing legal action etc. This seems to be the way they operate as the other stories were identical to mine. Wish I had done my research beforehand and feel so stupid for falling for this when I would normally consider myself a savvy person, but they promote really competitive prices online and with so much stuff to buy I saw it as a chance to cut costs. Just wanted to give people a heads up to avoid as they are not reliable and it's more hassle than the discount is worth. Apologies if this type of post is not allowed.

Just a heads up, Dunnes are doing deals this week on baby items, nappies, wipes, cleaning products etc.

  • Registered Users Posts: 101 ✭✭herrdood

Waterwipes are €20 for a box of 12 packets in Dunnes right now. About as good as it gets.
