Youre saving a lot on the cost price but some reviews say you can get similar for around 300 gbp anyway.

You need to be a prime member. For me it would pay for itself after 3 months. Im wondering does anyone here have experience with this model?

People saying this is better https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B072Q22S3J/?pldnSite=1&th=1

I have a sage but have not taken it out of the box yet. I also have a Delonghi bean to cup machine.

Overall the general consensus is that the Sage will give you a better cuppa however requires a bit more effort and is more involved to get it right.

I am more then happy with the Delonghi for the moment and if you get good beans, the coffee is excellent.

I've ordered replacement o rings/service set so that should sort the problem.

I'm guessing this issue with happen to others who bought the machine around the time of the original BA (like myself )
Following on from the above , a furher update in my case

After firstly trying the grease on its own , then ordering new o rings ,the issue did not resolve .

I knew it was in trouble as the piston was still abit stiff when I moved it manually .

In the You tube videos I could see it should move alot more free

So I ordered a new brew unit . Swapped it straight and problem solved

Where did you get it m8, I only see one that's suitable on Amazon, but it's got expensive delivery.

Re. those Delonghi Esam 4200, , love it but it's a PITA to clean inside, all those nooks and crannies. Looks like they deliberately designed it that way.
Anyone know of a similar beast, that easier to clean down ?

Yeah, saw that one, it was the fact that it's £13.38 delivery and could be November 13 before it arrives, that was putting me off, but not many alternatives, I guess.

They are as bad as each other in that case . I ordered mine on the 3rd Oct and it arrived on the 13th so the turnaround time may be quicker.

So this is my machine currently....

The squeak at the very beginning and from around 35 seconds on are what I'm most concerned about.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KO8...ew?usp=sharing

Making some strange noises. This is just after a clean and a lube. Its been like this for a while now, i did replace the brew unit a few years back which seems to correspond when the squeaking noises began.

Has anyone brought their machine to Kenilworths for a service or have any idea what might be causing this.

TIA
